  1. As I’ve already said Hibberd is needed against Cameron and Elliot the next 2 weeks and can’t play 4 games in a row on his Achilles.
  2. Rule Change (not sure how the AFL have managed to not have such a rule already considering the NRL’s position) ”If a player leaves the ground while moving toward another player the onus is on him to ensure he avoids any high contact.”
  3. How many hit outs did Shaun Grigg get?
  4. Schache……Jesus wept
  5. Absolutely no way we go with Schache, that’s the coaches unnecessarily [censored] themselves over Carlton’s talls, which is exactly what we don’t do. I like the Salem forward idea and agree that Trac must play forward.
  6. Yes and he can do all the forward half ruck work, pinch hit in the centre when Grundy’s on the bench. Only problem is he won’t play
  7. I was making a joke.
  8. He probably presumes most Melbourne supporters don’t know who he is. :)
  9. It’s not a given but it’s the likely outcome. Then it’s game on little buddy, game f..king on!
  10. I’m very bullish about 24-26, Petty and JVR, some clever recruiting and drafting and we should remain very very strong through those years. There’s a flag or 2 more on the way.
  11. He can’t play 4 games in a row and we need him on Cameron and Elliot the following 2 weeks, he has to rest this week.
  12. 1 point! No thanks, 40plus with the Melbourne chant ringing around the ground
  13. Can we please not have threads about him
  14. Maybe stop at Forward? :)
  15. No, Tomlinson will play on the resting ruck until the game is on hand then be subbed out for a mid who’ll help pile on the last quarter goals. May meanwhile will keep Curnow to a couple.
  16. May, has done well the last 2 outings and is our best big defender
  17. JJ replacement for Brayshaw is obvious. Tomlinson replaces Hibberd and takes the testing ruck….solid. Turner…..not sure what his gig is!
  18. Sounds like Tomlinson, Turner and JJ are coming in. I think the club is trusting the best ruckman of the last 6 years to take in the ruck job by himself. King makes a good point on 360 that Gawn needs to tuck inside 50 to create better stoppages.
  19. Maynard is no more culpable of the end of Brayshaw’s career than those that caused his other concussions. This is the problem, the AFL are still behind in protecting the head of its employees.
  20. I think JJ covers Brayshaw almost like for like just 80% of true value, which is fine.
  21. I think pick 22 for Grundy is fair. I don't think GC will swap pick 4 for those NQR picks. Holding clubs over a barrel never works out into the future. Just look at Peter Bell.
  22. You just hang onto it forever Sue, I’m sure that will work wonders.
  23. I understand that this was a big event and a lot of emotion carried with the loss on Thursday but it’s time to move on. We’ve got a big game on Friday then we’re off to the Gabba. Time to let go the past and prime ourselves with some venom for Carlton and Brisbane cause those fkersuc will be waiting on GF day and we need to be ready.
