NON-MFC: Round 01
Umpiring remains ordinary, poor decisions and no reading of a games situation.

This ground is one of the biggest injustices in the competition.

PREGAME: Rd 01 vs GWS
Woey is a good chance to ask for a trade imo. I'd like to keep him because I think he's a really hard worker. His issue is finding a role to make his own. I thought he was half a chance when ANB left but Sharp seems the logical replacement now. Injuries and form will occur. I don't think either Laurie or Billings will be playing AFL much. They just don't seem to fit anywhere.

The KB game against the Pies in 23 showed how our gameplan was superior to theirs. It's also the gamestyle that is played in finals when the pressure goes up a notch or two. The Pies were more than lucky in 23.- NON-MFC: Round 01

I love people's criticism of the kickout to Gawn. It was the most effective kickout strategy leading to scores in the AFL.- Great Demon Goals
Watt's goal against the pies is one of my all time favourites.- NON-MFC: Round 01
That's rubbish and the rewriting of history to suit your narrative. In 22 we ran out of energy tickets and had too many injuries to our best players. Gawn was hobbled, Petracca had his leg busted, Lever was on one leg, may was stiffer than a groom on wedding night. In 23 had we not lost Petty, Melksham and Brayshaw I reckon the flag was ours. Last year the wheels fell off and we missed finals by a game and percentage. That's hardly the resume of a team playing boring football. We played to our strengths.- PREGAME: Rd 01 vs GWS
22 is youthful in my book, and the guys out of the VFL have that "this is my last chance to make it" hunger which is also youthful in it's essence. I love that we're playing the kids early. These are the guys who haven't got old systems ingrained in them. They should by rights pick up the newer game style more easily. I also think they provide a great energy boost to the older players, especially after the last few seasons dramas. I think it's a smart play by the club. I want to win but I'll take a narrow loss full of effort, glimpses of game plan and solid games by Oliver and Petracca.- PREGAME: Rd 01 vs GWS

You’re quoting just one part of my post.- TRAINING: Saturday 15th March 2025
Congratulate everyone but remind them that we have to win. I've been bagging Collingwood and Carlton fans hard and I can ill afford the return fire should we lose.- NON-MFC: Round 01
Hawthorn are a wait and watch for me. I look at their list and think they're bottom 6 but I watch how they play and think top 6. I think if you pressure them hard and can shut down a couple of their small forwards you'll beat them. You need to be on your game though because they can score heavily and fast. Meek is a good ruck and he's the type that bothers Gawn. Their mids aren't as strong as ours but they play with an energy that we didn't last year.- PREGAME: Rd 01 vs GWS

I’d much prefer Essendon to win. There’s not a player I like at hawthorn bar frost- NON-MFC: Round 01
You could of just moved to Castlemaine 😂- Forward line questions
Looks like last year? Johnson, Henderson and Langford don’t even play for us last year- PREGAME: Rd 01 vs GWS

It’s genuinely exciting and I reckon watching the Tigers should give us all encouragement for what’s coming up. Sharp has experience, you can say the same for Johnson and Henderson and Langford and Lindsay are high, ready to play draftees and Jefferson appears to have shown enough to get his chance. I say bring it on, I’d much rather be here than where Collingwood, Carlton and Essendon are.- PREGAME: Rd 01 vs GWS
