Funny how you rate the list a top 5 and we are sitting 4th atm... only halfway through the season. Our form does worry me we haven't played our best since Sydney game but if we get going after the bye and no more injuries to key players we can go all the way..

Our midfield is unstoppable when the balls going our way, however we rely on too few we should have rotated Harmes JJ, Dunstan into the team more not just as subs give them a fair run, along with Gus Kossi, and Rivers there is enough variety, we just don't use it enough. We will wear out our guns trying to stay in top 4 than have nothing left for finals

Glass half full, we are blooding alot of players early in the season... which should hold us in good shape once the business end of the season comes around, we are getting the points on the board without burning out our best 25 players.

I think its more to do with delivery i50, if we tweak the game plan to hit up some targets and get decent shots on goal, we will put most opposition away by 3/4 time.. we were 2nd on the ladder and won the flag with the same forward line, so adding JVR and Shane can't hurt. We are definitely a chance of top 4 again

I think I'm more excited about picking up Hunter than Grundy... if he plays at his best on a wing we improve our midfield depth and free up JJ

Agree these two shouldn't be best 22 by rd 10 next year the young guys got to push them out, however I'm happy they are staying, good experience and depth.

The Peninsula is amazing for everyone including the surfers, as you may already know alot of footballs live out that way including our skipper.

Even so if you could 'sell' the Peninsula life style to future players similar with what Geelong do it could be a advantage we haven't thought off?

Have to agree with this... if its to be at Casey come out on the front foot and tell us, leaving everyone in the dark is worse. Imo if its to hard to get something big enough close enough to the G. Keep Casey and have a second smaller training facility where admin, fan functions can happen atleast its done

The fact he will be 29 next year and has injury issues that even if he over comes them you'll probably get 2 above average years out of him before he starts to naturally decline, I wouldn't say his worth no more than a pick 30ish. Than take into account his salary and id be looking at pick 35 to 40

IMO the board and entire club have done a fantastic job, for the first time as far as I can remember we are a stable strong well run club, everything seems to be heading in the right direction on and off field. Yes I can't wait till we have a home base and see the importance but give me aleast another premiership or 2 with this list so I can say I've seen a Melbourne dynasty
