I reckon we all need to take a chill pill. The media will keep pushing this story until trade period closes. They need to generate content and the Clarry story is manna from heaven for them. I reckon we’ll trade if we can get his full salary off the books and a future first. I very much doubt Geelong will stump up so Clarry will stay a demon. I could be wrong of course just my opinion. He won’t be the first player that wanted to be traded but had to stay put. We’ll integrate back into the group and get on with it. Do our best with him and hope we can manage his behavioural problems. If he produces another season of mediocrity next year, then we’ll just have to cut our losses at that point and move on.

All good Ricky Posters will always be sceptical of posters that turn up from nowhere agitating for change and then disappear. there have a been a few of those. You should hang around and post more on footy related matters. Once you have a track record other posters won't be as sceptical about you. @Skuit has been posting here for a long time. True or not as a parent of a currently listed player he should not be commenting in the media. It’s not helpful. he should be all means take it up with the club. In fact he would be a good representative for concerned parents given he’s a former player and has such a special history with the club.

The pick he threw was bad but he was very good in the second half. the drive to win the game was close to perfect. Drove the length of the field and chewed up all the clock in the process. I think Dak is good enough. We need another dependable receiver along with Lamb. Dowdle was good yesterday carrying the ball. a lot of defensive injuries are a big problem but i think we have the team to make a play-off run if we can stay healthy enough. The weak link is the coach.

Tim Lamb performed fine in that interview. Tough gig given the Trac and Clarry situations but he dealt with things as well as could be expected in the circumstances. and i reckon the Dan Houston situation is as much do with the fact we ended up with pick 5 rather than a later pick. Obviously Tim Lamb can't say that in an interview so he had to try to skirt around the question.
