Ok. I've got yesterday's horror show out of my system now. We can and will beat Geelong. No way this team meekly surrenders again this week. Make a statement about what this team stands. I'd throw Zanker into the middle. She's strong and agile and played there before to good effect. Bring West back in. Leave Harris forward. Campbell and Pearce to do the rucking. We may not go much farther this year but if we are going to lose can we at least die with our boots on. come on girls. you can do it.
  7. I’ll go with this as well
  8. Very very disappointed with that. Embarrassing performance. I wasn’t overly confident coming into the game given our form but that was terrible. We’ve lauded this year the past year or so and rightly so. They’ve been fantastic. The last few weeks have been poor however and today downright embarrassing. We were trounced and lucky to kick a goal. Goldie, Hore and Hanks had a crack. The rest were awful. The appetite for the contest is not there. We hunted like lions last year. This year we’ve been meek as lambs. I’d love to know why. We’re other problems as well but you have to have the heart for the battle. Going back-to-back is very hard to do but our level of performance against the top teams the last month or so has been miles off. Some honest conversations required otherwise Geelong will beat us next week. Mick has his work cut out for him this week that’s for sure.
  9. ow is that not a HTB against Kearney. Not that it matters at this stage but umpiring is as poor as usual
  10. Geelong will fancy their chances next week. i hope we can get our [censored] together sufficiently to win that game at least and avoid the dreaded straight sets.
  11. What is it with the MFC and finals? We've talked up our culture a lot but we're as soft as butter. Demon Spirit my eye.
  12. needs to be some honest conversations after this loss. Zero leadership or intent today. Goldie, Hore and Hanks the only players with any credit from this debacle
  13. we're miles off. if north kicked straigh this would be a shellacking. i think we've been drinking our own bathwater.
  14. we didn;t melt last year though. i think its a hunger/mindset issue as much as anything else.
  15. Goldie always has a crack
  16. we're a shambles. no method, skills poor, and i don't think the belief is there.
  17. your bias is so obvious. you hate birch. we get it.
  18. Hore has laid some big tackles. leading the way for the rest to follow
  19. we hunted last year. appetite not there this season
  20. give it a rest will ya. shes doing fine so far
  21. I don;t like this start. Teams have worked us out. Contest and pressure.
  22. are you allowed to just push your opponent over in the ruck contest? should have been a free to Pearce

Essendon getting pumped. May their drought continue for a long time yet.
  24. Engine room needs to fire. We’ve been bullied by lions and crows in that department recently. North will have taken note. We have the firepower to win and I think we will. But last weeks performance was poor. Not as confident as I would otherwise be.

Lions win opens it up for us but we can’t look further than north. It’ll be a tough game. Can’t afford any complacency.
