  1. Time flies. Let's call it a case of delayed onset second season syndrome

I can’t recall a player requesting a trade due to inconvenience getting to a training ground. If it’s a hassle get a place to live closer to work.
  3. Is this a new thing. Don’t recall seeing this event in previous years. any word on the family day date?
  4. What a crock of sh*te. They all have medallions except jvr. And other than sparrow I think they have all shown they can be grade a players. Bowey had second season syndrome this year but his ball usage off half back is elite. He’ll come good again in 24
  5. Maddy gay has still plenty to offer. Not sure what her contract situation is but if contracted I’d make her stay if it was my decision. im all for some list turnover this trade period but I don’t want to see the list gutted.

Dak playing well. He has options now other than Lamb. Ferguson at TE is playing very well and is developing into a reliable outlet. Coughing up a lot of points though. Conceding 30-35 points a game won't cut it. We've been here before with the Cowboys. Look the part but fold when playing quality opposition. Let's see how they go against the Eagles. Your boys showing a bit.

Arguing over which politician was more corrupt than another politician is the equivalent of 2 bald men fighting over a comb. Pointless.

Just saw the result. Congrats to the Lions. they lost some very good players in the trade period but have found replacements and come up with a premiership.
  11. great pics
  12. Is Birch really only 25? She moved like a 30-year-old this year. She had a poor season but at that age we should get a good pick for her. Will be sorry to see Westy and Sherriff leave. 2 honest toilers but if we're looking to improve then upgrading these 2 are obvious options.
  13. She's settled in country Vic. I can't see Daisy moving across to WA. Plus i reckon she's learning more coaching a mens team than jumping back to AFLW now

  15. Conti is an excellent player. A deserving winner. Also helps that she didn’t have team mates taking votes off her.
  16. Delighted to add the $1m to the kitty but there's something hollow about this given the way both teams went out in straight sets.
  17. Relax. We’ll play finals. And if we keep our forward line fit we’ll get close to winning the flag.

The only political comment I would make here is never trust a politician from any party. They are all the same. Untrustworthy and unreliable.

Do you know if a funded feasibility study been done on the MGC precinct project?

I hate the cats but rather than whinging about how they get money, and we don’t (because they obviously canvass/lobby better than us for their club. they've been a well-run club for a long time) we should acknowledge our own ineptitude. How can we not even have a location secured after decades of homelessness. We are where we are because of a number of useless boards. And I’m not too optimistic about our prospects either. Government largess has dried up because of economic conditions and who know when conditions will improve/change. MGC precinct looks dead in the water, so I really hope Caulfield works out. If not, then we are right back where we have always been, homeless with no prospects. Kate Roffey needs to get her finger out already.
