Very conflicted today. I love the death ride but hate Geelong. Ideally Geelong loses today but Freo still finish in bottom 4 at seasons end.

The better Carlton does in his absence the more likely this becomes an option. I don't know whether he is open to leaving but he would make a massive difference to us. In terms of cost i'd give Carlton our first rounders this year. If our later pick isn't satisfactory maybe, we can do a deal with GC to get there's. And I'd prefer to use our picks on McKay than trading up for No.1 to get Harley Reid.

Blues up to 5th! The Carlton hordes will be up and about. I'm surrounded by them at work. I have to admit their choke last year was hilarious. One of the funniest things ever. Comparing me to Peter Bell! I'm deeply insulted. Not proven is little unfair i reckon. He kicked 32 goals in 2021 and 23 last year (although he was wayward and kicked a lot of behinds. his yips are fixable though). Was a first round pick. Eagles were apparently chasing him last year. At 22, he's much younger than Grundy. ACL's are far from career ending compared to back in the day. obviously any trade subject to a proper medical And i reckon he'd be playing in our first team at the moment while Grundy languishes at Casey.
