That is the silver lining. We were heading towards a slow death with the style of play which was largely forced by the types of players on our list. We were always inside midfielder heavy. Now Trac wouldn’t have been my first choice given his attacking profile, but we needed a big trade to bring in some picks and speed up the regeneration of the playing group and move to a more modern style of play. It means we won’t be competing for some time, but that’s ok. It happens. Our next chance will be sooner if we get this trade through. Maybe not a popular opinion, but we need change.

I think it goes back to the finals last year. I think he saw what playing against Collingwood and Carlton really means in finals and figured he doesn't have the intestinal fortitude to perform on the big stage in front of a hostile crowd.

Well i think he still plays at a similar level like he did for us. Hasn't really improved that much from what i have seen. With his trade we got Windsor and Jeffo. Just with Windsor alone, i think we already won that trade.

He is a Key Forward. They take much longer to develop. We just have to accept he is not going to be in the calibre of the great full forwards.
