  1. Another take on this whole debacle: Was his ego hurt when he didnt get all the love and devotion from the playing group, media etc in the immediate period after his injury? I remember not hearing anything from Trac for quite some time. Has this then translated into a hissy fit following the realisation that he isn't the centre of attention at the club and everything that has followed is essentially a pre-adolescent outburst of emotion. This is likely further fueled through jealousy on how the club has rallied around Oliver.
  2. I was about to respond with a joke about are we allowed to name people anymore, but i dont know how id cope not having DL to help through this Tracic set of circumstances.
  3. And the takeaway from this is, where are they now? They have disappeared into the void of irrelevance.
  4. There’s definitely some mayo there. I don’t doubt he was in critical condition due to primarily blood loss. But for surgeons to lose a patient presenting with his condition would be very unlikely.
  5. I thought about this too and was really on the fence. In the end it depends on if and how he can redeem himself from this point.
  6. I think so too. I think his followers will dry up the moment he leaves the football scene as well. This whole ****show has shown his true colours and in the current world, his entitled attitude won’t appeal to many people let alone sponsors.
  7. hours lost to sleep on here would be the more telling.
  8. I think its the perfect time frankly. I had no time for board spills previously, but there has been a systematic gross failure within this club. There are countless isolated incidents, which i was prepared to consider them as isolated. But it has now gotten to the point where enough is enough; death by a thousand cuts, is still death. I would expect nothing short of an extensive external review. I will give the benefit of doubt to the current board to initiate this process. If it does not, then the board need to be challenged.
  9. I grant you the technicality. Trac has said nothing publically. But sometimes saying nothing, is saying everything. Surely you are not of the view that the narrative around Trac's desire to leave MFC is unproven / fabricated?
  10. At least it wasnt an F-. So there is a positive.
  11. If it looks like a trade request, smells like a trade request, sounds like trade request..... what difference does it make if a statement from his management goes out?
  12. i.e. you would have to nominate the national draft at which point he goes to Richmond or North or even back to us as we are both before Pies and Blues.
  13. Im not sure this is actually true. Is it really - i thought those images were fake? i cant imagine anyone doing whatever Trac is to come within 50m of the playing group. He simply would not be welcomed unless his future was certain with the club one way or another and things were amicable. Right now that is far from the truth.
  14. That Carlton game was one of his best outside the GF. There is no denying it. But those games were few and far between. He lacked lots of consistency and would have games where he just wasn’t effective - we tend to overlook those as well. Still, not many players have the ability to turn a game… he just appears to pick and chose when that happens. Maybe there in lies the problem ?
  15. The fellas on Midweek tackle made an interesting few remarks relating to Trac threatening with an expose of the inner sanctum of the club and the playing group. ‘prepared to watch the world burn’ just sounds really bizarre like a deep seeded hatred almost. If he was to reveal some secrets of the playing group, is that akin to an AFL death wish? I mean what club would want that type of player at all?
  16. Hypothetical. Let’s say we saw N Daicos do this to the Pies, acting all Me Me Me. Leaks that he was a Dees fan growing up and is trying to torch Collingwood….. Ok bad example
  17. Won’t happen. The AFL ticked off on the process for his injury management. He exercised his own free will and entered the field of play. I hope he does apply tbh, it will [censored] all over his brand and he’ll become the perennial sook and carry that with him for the rest of his life.
  18. Make that 499,999. Unfollowed.
  19. Perhaps. But it has to remain a viable option or we lose all bargaining power. Tracs antics is all aimed at trying to weakened that hand. Trac will not want to waste 2025 at the Dees - He’ll be 30’at year end so will be running out of brand building oops. He may again seek a trade then, but it’ll still demand at least 2 first rounders.
  20. Which are near on possible to get over the line in situations involving 1 pick. MFC have set the price. 3 first rounders get in you to a conversation. It has to be a godfather offer. As Buckley said, we let others do the work and if not happy Expect Trac at preseason day 1 ready to go.
  21. This was a poor take from Gerard. Maybe even a paid piece. Trac escapes all scrutiny here.
  22. I don’t think he’ll front up next year if we make him stay. So what would that mean contractually? Obviously miss Match payments, but could he play the mental health card to at least get something his way aka Ben Simmons’s tactic? That would destroy his brand so would definitely avoid IMV. So as Buckley has said we hold firm, get some solid offers from GCS, North, Richmond and give him an ultimatum. We control the outcome no matter how much of a tantrum he throws.
  23. I’d play him the entire season at Casey.
  24. Good points, but everyone will be blinded by the performance uplift they would get. Nobody is knocking back what Trac would do for them in the ground just because he is up himself and has high ambitions.
