Yep. Remember the complexities only too well. Pity you have to defer to the club. It used to be our way or the highway 😂

It's great to see WCW. I've always seen run throughs from a creative perspective and lament the modern day version. It's not my place to be giving our current gang ideas but if I were to offer one piece of advice it would be when using a printed picture to cut around the outline of the player and place that directly on the backing. Unless the background of the picture matches perfectly with the colour of the backing. It needs to look seamless. Also, it needs to be balanced evenly between top, bottom and side as well as the lettering on the opposite side.

Fair play to the Tiges cheer squad for actually drawing a caricature of Trent Cochin on their run through instead of sticking on a big photocopied piece of paper. Old school.

Just looked at Freo's run home. Only likely to beat WC and Carlton. Sydney is 50/50. All at home.

Ah. They just said in the commentary that thousands of kids got in free (no doubt accompanied by their parents). Who knows, maybe if they started paying people to come they they could push through the 10,000 barrier.

I reckon there's about 8,000 at the Giants game. Not too shabby for a plastic team playing an interstate opponent in a graveyard time slot in the @rse end of nowhere.

PREGAME: Rd 15 vs Geelong
FWIW, IF we were to win our next three games (cats, giants, saints) we'd be on par with where we were at the same stage last year, but without being banged up (hopefully). It's been mentioned earlier in this thread that six of our final nine games are against sides currently sitting 12,13,14,15,16,17 on the ladder.

Another game at the 'G?
I doubt any St Kilda game at the G would be against us. Certainly not if they want to get 70k turning up. They should concentrate more in trying to fill Marvel for their current home games before trying to shoehorn their way into our ground.

Finlayson not only playing fantastic football whilst dealing with a horrendous personal situation but has done a great job to hold onto that receding hairline of his for so long. Up there with Jordan Lewis.

Geelong. I want us to be taking up Port's entire rear view mirror after this weekend. We then get the pleasure of ending Geelong's fading top 4 hopes next week.

Brisbane Pair Stand Down Amid Poor Form
Hi DJ. I was surprised to read this. I've always considered an AFL season to be pretty short. Same with NFL. In Europe, football coaches / managers oversee 10 month long seasons and they might get 4 weeks off between them. They are almost always just a few bad games away from being sacked. Man City just finished a season in which they played 60 games over 4 different competitions that included a lot of travelling to the continent in the Champions League and games every 3-4 days over those 10 months.

‘Maxy’ Maynard is the GM at Casey. I chatted to him, Mark Weideman, Kelly O’Donnell and T-Macs old man in the bar near where I sit a year or so ago during a game. He played for us around 1980-81 I think?- PREGAME: Rd 15 vs Geelong
I have no problem with the Cats having their own ground as it’s boring having nine Victorian teams playing out of the same two grounds every week. One of which is pretty soulless. I’d prefer that the likes of Collingwood get their turn to go down there though and perhaps they will if Geelong can have eleven games there with a 40k capacity. Moving it to the G on a Thursday night won’t attract 70k as it’s inconvenient for their local supporters and ours won’t turn up because it’s cold or at night or whatever.- POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
