I'm not sure about a breakdown of actual midfield minutes, but you can check out centre bounce attendances below: https://dfsaustralia.com/afl-cbas/?team=MEL&season=2023

He's small but he sure packs a punch -
Does Kade make the grade, or will it be Chandlermonium
adonski replied to DeeSpencer's topic in Melbourne Demons
Melbourne small forward Kade Chandler’s increased senior opportunities this year are set to convince him to commit his future to the red and blue, according to sources familiar with the situation. .........Chandler’s strong start to the season, on top of the opposition interest in him, means he is poised for another multi-year contract, although any potential deal may not be locked in until closer to mid-year. -

Brown has kicked 9 goals in 3 games, there's still life left in him yet JVR has kicked 6 goals in (his first) 3 games The common theme has been the midfield getting absolutely smashed in our losses

Gus had a fantastic 2021 finals series & deserves credit for being one of the main reasons the momentum shifted in our favour during the grandfinal. While he's capable of having good games in the role, he isn't a good wingman and was average for the entirety of the regular season. He finished outside the top 10 in the B&F, we priorised Jordon over Gus all throughout 2022 & specifically went after Hunter for season 2023 onwards. It's pretty clear Goodwin & co don't rate him as a permanent winger, nor should they given his lack of athleticism. The defensive running stuff is nice, but the better wingman (Hunter & Langdon) are capable of doing that and actually getting the footy.

Nothing major, just constantly knocking him for getting cheapies, his twitter is flooded with cheapshots like the below
-
He's a farqwhit Has moved on from Will Phillips to Sheezle as his punching bag this season it seems The first to crack into kids but don't you dare touch Corne-Francis!
-
He's probably been one of our better players
-
He was poor outside of the finals series

An interesting tidbit: AFL Fantasy Averages (Bolded = contract years) 2018 - 105.1 2019 - 88 2020 - 79* (adjusted for COVID shorter quarters) 2021 - 66.5 2022 - 99.1 2023 - 73.8

The Shach is not the answer

Agreed, take away our intensity and we look bog average.

Good year to have two top 5 picks -
He's been a bit underwhelming but reckon Rivers start to the season has cost Gus some of his disposals
