  1. Been said thousands of time during the game I thought...
  2. JJ plays footy, Sparrow more aligned with rugby
  3. We had midfield issues in 2021 too, but our top end guys were too good to reveal the extent of them The 2024 version of our midfield is what we look like when Clarry isn't playing like the best player in the comp
  4. One day they'll revoke Rivers' kicking licence...one day
  5. Chuck a fiver on Kentfield
  6. Well done to anyone who manages to sit through this camera work
  7. Welcome, the Don....
  8. Who cares, midfields more important
  9. SUBIACO RUCK/FORWARD #29 Luker Kentfield Height: 194cm Weight: 93kg D.O.B: 10-09-2005 STRENGTHS: + Aerial ability + Contested marking + Conversion + Strength IMPROVEMENTS: - Production - Speed A hulking key forward with notable senior experience, Luker Kentfield is a prospect who has flown under the radar. Along with potential first-rounder Koltyn Tholstrup, he turned out in Subiaco's League side this year for 10 games and earned a call-up to the state Under 18 side for three appearances. At 194cm, he rotated between the ruck and forward line and was able to be a mainstay against mature bodies due to his readymade frame. While doing so at AFL level will be tougher against taller and more athletic opponents, the 18-year-old held his own in the WAFL's top flight. Kentfield is a strong marker and pure striker of the ball, albeit if opportunities are far from frequent. He averaged just six disposals, three marks and less than a goal per game this year, with his standout senior effort yielding four of his overall eight goals for the season from eight touches and four marks.
  10. He's had no preseason, I doubt they'd bring him in and drop him after a couple weeks. He'll get the Billings treatment and stay in for half a dozen + games before they make a call.
  11. Tomlinson's best game since the Pies game last year! Even got coaches votes. IN: Adams OUT: Tomlinson
  12. Another good game (probably his best?), if he can maintain it for a while yet it'd be exciting to see him get a crack in the back end of the home and away season at senior level
  13. Jeffer 3 goals, really building
  14. Perhaps Harrms is a possibility
  15. OUT: Lever, Billings, Howes IN: van Rooyen, Langdon, Woewodin Petty to defence
  16. James Jordon, we could do with a utility midfielder like him
  17. There are two games this year where Tom Sparrow has recorded 0 centre bounce attendances, round 1 against the Dogs, following our R0 loss against the Swans, and Round 10 against the eagles, following our loss against Carlton. Goodwin losing the faith?
  18. It's such a niche player to be linked to, it must be real...! A left-footer with silky skills, Ryan Angwin is a versatile footballer with a high footy IQ. After managing just one game in 2022 due to a fracture in his lower leg, Angwin added 15 games to his career tally in 2023, often used in a variety of roles by coach Adam Kingsley. A composed decision maker who is creative by foot, Angwin is also a great athlete, highlighted by his strong time for the 2km time trial.
  19. Only one man can save us
  20. We should take Parker for a year
  21. Jefferson and Seston very good for a quarter and a bit before fading, pretty much sums up Casey's day Hunter looks cooked, can't see Laurie playing much senior footy, aside from the occasional sub cameo
  22. Brown with excellent poise
  23. Jefferson awarded a holding the ball free kick & shot on goal inside 50 from a run down tackle...narrowly misses his set shot
