Simply give him the ball imo

SparGod would thrive at a side that played a bit smarter

Has neat skills and a decent footy brain. Not a Goodwin style player, sounds right up Longmires alley though.

I think we'll be okay. Forward line will be much better next year - Petty, JVR, Fritsch, Pickett, Tracc is a great core Defence will be strong as per normal pending Steven May not dying from old age in the off season Midfield is the biggest concern...question marks over Gus, Sparrow is just okay, Langdon went backwards. This is the area that needs experimenting with the most I reckon...

Jarryd Lyons might be worth a shout as a depth option -
We have a surplus of small forwards, we were always going to lose one or two
-
We could partially correct it by playing Kozzie in the midfield for more than 28 seconds per game. Or experimenting with Salem or even Bowey through the midfield should they feel adventurous.
-
Feel sorry for Grundy, some more creative strategies involving the Gawndy pairing more have had better results but it was always a risk We'll get a return on investment and move on
-
If Charlie was a couple inches taller he'd be an absolute weapon of a midfielder Then again, something about my grandma having wheels.....

Power interested in Soldo is the only new piece of info As well as: The Roos will secure picks two and three, with clubs now believing they could secure a mid-first round pick from the AFL at pick 11 — after the non-finalists — to help preserve the draft order which will be impacted by academy and free agency picks. -

We have too many forwards (or mids playing fwd) who don't actually hit the scoreboard Chandler - invisible after round 8 ANB - KPI's in KM's Spargo - architect with ball in hand but rarely hitting scoreboard Sparrow - see ANB
-
Petty, JVR, Fritsch, Pickett with a sprinkle of Trac are the only certainties

It's funny isn't it, so much attention comes onto our forward line, but if they can actually get on the park it should be solid at worst, and very good at best. It's the midfield depth / class & the question mark over who is actually going to be the third pillar next to May & Lever next year, which are bigger issues. I'd actually be keeping Tomlinson and telling him it's his spot to lose unless a Turner or an Adams comes out and has the pre-season of a lifetime, but I don't think Goody rates Tommo.
