We have our first rounder (pick 5), and a second round pick tied to the Swans. We traded our 2024 second round pick for McAdam...which we'll probably end up getting back for ANB. So we may have picks 5, 25 (?), 38 (Swans), 45, 51 or something there abouts.

Farewell Alex Neal-Bullen
My understanding is that rule applies in the same trade period, we should be okay to receive it back this year

- What if we had a firesale?
Too much player power, order will be restored when teams can trade players, in contract, without their consent i.e NBA style Unfortunately that's many years off (if ever)- What if we had a firesale?
Could take on bad contracts if the sending team throws in a pick with the player- What if we had a firesale?
No ones willingly going to Richmond at the moment unfortunately. They're even less desirable than us :(- What if we had a firesale?
Oh no, Trac to Footahskray!- What if we had a firesale?
Petty re-signed earlier this year and is still young. Lost some value too after his year up forward in 2024. He's a keeper long term as a key defender. Clarry has had his worst year ever and you never sell low, unless there is significant doubt internally that he won't keep his act together off the field. Not like we're desperate for cap space anyway with the loss of Brayshaw, Grundy, BBB....Trac? If there's a view that Pickett's home coming is inevitable, I'd trade him to Freo should they come to the table with a couple of first round picks. Obviously you'd love to keep him for his entire career but that seems doubtful. I know it won't be popular but the Petracca trade is a no brainer if Carlton are silly enough to trade us a couple of first round picks plus steak knives. 29 years old, coming off an injury where no one really knows how he'll return. In a perfect world we'd all be singing kumbaya round a camp fire with Trac & Kozzie shouting their allegiances to the club from the roof tops, but if that isn't possible you sell high where you can.- Christian Petracca
Apparently his management reached out to Freo They have 3 first round picks this year, and a future picks to trade But if they're committed to Bolton and Baker, it might be impossible- Christian Petracca
I reckon trading Trac fast trac's (sorry) a rebuild, if we run it back next year with the same group we're probably in the 6th - 12th no mans land area, plus the added media pressure and [censored] show of Trac speculation You're also taking a punt his value holds in 12 months time if he has a down year given the injury, should he want out then I know it's a very Americanised take to blow it all up, but if you can sell high (ish) on Trac, and also get multiple first round picks for Pickett (who's return home seems an inevitability at some stage of his career), I'd do it- Christian Petracca
Trac needs to be traded to Carlton before he retires ideally- Dan Houston
Finally a small win- The Josh Smillie Thread
Thats Just as bad!- KOZZY A DEMON FOR LIFE!!!
Have you adjusted those index points for inflation?- KOZZY A DEMON FOR LIFE!!!
Yes It's a balancing act. Freo have 3 firsts this year and one next year to trade. Will we get 2 first rounders for Pickett in a year, if he still goes? As good as he is, most clubs probably arent spending that on a small fwd. Freo however with their draft hand can throw caution to the wind- KOZZY A DEMON FOR LIFE!!!
Trade him for a couple of firsts to the Dokkahs, he's obviously going home at some stage- Christian Petracca
