  1. I've got a bridge to sell you
  2. Lamb's comments read more as justification for trading away this years pick given how compromised it is due to the academy kids and the like (which is a fair comment), rather than him necessarily potting the quality of it Every draft is a strong draft if you pick right, every draft is a weak one if you pick wrong 🧘‍♂️ Important to remember we traded IN to the 2020 draft
  3. Two first round picks (one being pick 7) would be a fantastic result for a 30 year old, anyone disappointed with that needs to take the red and blue goggles off
  4. Reckon anyone who thinks the Suns would release Humphrey has rox in their heads (happy to be proven wrong) The trade will get done with picks like every other trade
  5. Yep Reckon the conversations would be something like GWS take the full $, we receive a token late pick GWS pay 75%, we receive a 2nd rounder GWS pay 50%, we receive their first pick or something to that effect I posted previously that Giants would be trading for $3.5m over 5 years rather than for Oliver
  6. Very astute comment by Faux Phoenix. I reckon there's every chance we end up with the Giants first pick which is why we've gone so hard with the salary component
  7. The role stuff is the polite way of managing the optics
  8. I would suggest we are trading the person rather than the player

  10. Mihocek on Saturday informed the Pies that he would be leaving the club for the Demons following Collingwood's best and fairest. The unrestricted free agent would be unlikely to garner any high level compensation for the Pies given his age – 32 – and the short-term contract, meaning a deal could still be done as a back-end trade. Under free agency rules, the compensation pick a club gets for losing a player can be diluted or even withdrawn if they bring in another player via free agency. https://www.afl.com.au/news/1436491/inside-trading-cats-continue-curnow-chase-eagles-consider-draft-move-will-flanders-unlock-trac-deal
  11. He looked a bit more rushed and sloppy in his disposal in the other footage of him but this video he looks excellent, fantastic movement
  12. Yeah, very different set of circumstances this year with the 3 stooges departing though
  13. We may very well have a host of excellent picks this year and next And perhaps an excellent coach? Time will tell
  14. 2 years rather than 3 is a good result
  15. GWS will purchase $3.5m worth of cap space over 5 years in return for pick 13 We'll chuck in Clayton Oliver for free
  16. DESTINATION CLUB
  17. Steven King has mentioned the game changing with an emphasis on outside ball movement and runners, so I doubt someone like Steele is in our calculations With that being said, we may need him to field a team next year!
  18. Smooth mover and designated kicker Josh Lindsay may be an option when we receive a couple of first round selections when C******* P****** is traded to the Suns (yes picks rather than the Bailey Humphry/Gary Ablett Jr package deal rumoured on Demonland). The loss of Judas McVee and Steven King's emphasis on players with a good outside game may have Lindsay under consideration. Josh Lindsay has put together a stellar junior resume, establishing himself as a big game player and one with the utmost class. He put his name on the map with best on ground performances in last year’s National Under 17 Futures match, and the AFL Academy’s second game this year. The 18-year-old went on to nail his spot at half-back in the Coates Talent League Team of the Year and Under 18 All-Australian side. He was tested at elevated levels but his ball use held him in good stead, while testing out his midfield craft increasingly with the Falcons and Geelong Grammar. Lindsay considers himself somewhat of a “footy nuffy” and grew up supporting North Melbourne. He models his game on the likes of Sydney star Errol Gulden, for his inside-outside balance, and Collingwood champion Scott Pendlebury, for his professionalism and longevity. Aussie Rules Rookie Me CentralJosh Lindsay Draft ProfileGeelong Falcons prospect Josh Lindsay is a lethal left-foot distributor with unmatched vision, class, and foot skills.
  19. Robey & Lindsay 😎
  20. Humper will cost way too much
  21. Because not even the Suns are silly enough to trade those picks for a 30 year old
  22. Must be a poor draft if there's only 3 good players!
  23. I know its a bit boring but if we get 2 first rounders for Trac and take a couple of talented kids in the draft like we have done the last two years it's still a fine result
