  1. Well quite obviously there is no guarantee, my point was to look at the price action, it's useful to consider. FWIW I have gone with the Tigers-Dees multi.
  2. A WB-Melb multi is paying 1.61 on SportsBet. A Rich-Melb multi is paying 2.71. No Dusty, remember. I don't underrate the teams we beat, I just don't underestimate Footscray - so hot right now. Round 11 is gonna be a walk-off.
  3. A good finish this year may change that. Players want flags (and money of course). They got 99 problems and don't want a wooden spoon or mid table mediocrity to be one!
  4. Not this week. Dogs to beat Richmond handily. What would we need to beat NM by to pick up 25% points. WB currently 631/360 F/A MFC currently 544/361 F/A WB beat Richmond 100-60. We would need to win 200-60 or 160-40 or something like that. If WB Richmond is closer, let's say 90-80, we would need to win 120-40. In other words in either case we need to kick an absolute bag and keep them to SFA. In my view the best chance is round 9. Round 8: MFC to beat Sydney, WB to beat Carlton. Round 9: MFC to beat Carlton, WB to lose to Port at Adelaide. That's the best chance. Round 10 Dogs v Saints, Dees v Adelaide at Adelaide. Round 9 for mine, barring a close WB/Tigers game and us laying down an absolute flogging.
  5. Hardest of hard no's.
  6. Agree, cough up the gossip and caveat it as gossip/
  7. What fresh hell is this? An AA with 5 Demons?! Be still my beating heart!
  8. What an epic problem to have on the age footy podcast today - good listen with bartel’s take on the MFC - one of them said they would not swap Melbourne’s list for anyone’s. Best in the league by far.
  9. Chr!st on a stick our website is shocking. Just went to check out GF guarantee via reserved - multiple button clicks, http404s, can't find seats. Good lord.
  10. Coming up with a multi on this one is going to be tricky. I don’t know if there is a market for tracc to get 150 posessions
  11. No offence to you personally and not to detail the thread but I suspect the health advice assesses risk than internet commenters fair point on compo - same goes for bluefest but why you’d run a music festival without pandemic insurance (it doesn’t exist so perhaps that tells you how the actuaries view the risk-it’s not insureable)
  12. <hubris mode> Gee no crowd at Marvel could get ugly for North. Without the cries and rending of clothes in lamentation by their fans at the ground we will be able to hear each other better. </hubris mode>

We could win this year's premiership by 12 goals against Port Adelaide or the Bulldogs in some frozen tundra near Bullamakankee having flown in there 2 hours before the game and been forced to parachute out of the bi plane they sent us there in having just endured a month of lockdown because a dopey Bombers player went to a Covid hotspot the week before we play them and this would be the narrative from some media clowns: They haven't beaten anyone yet Port or Bulldogs were undermanned We could then win another 3 flags in 10 years and still not be trusted, and every team we beat will have been undermanned or travelled too far or had too-sugary tea that morning or some other povvo excuse. I only pay attention to Gleeson et al - the Age Footy Podcast is reasonably balanced. Be interesting to see on the couch tonight.
  14. Bulldogs won't lose this next one. If we can smash North - and there is no excuse for a win under 12 goals - and the Tigers stick close to the bulldogs, we might get up on %. I still think it's a few weeks away if we keep winning. bulldogs I think face Port over there soon.

    I agree SICK BURN!
  16. We might have lost this in recent times but not this year * *I have money on north at 13-1 just in case
  17. Contact tracing is a non issue. Turn up and scan a QR code in an app? I’m in NSW though on Service NSWs app though which is very good. What’s the go in vic not being able to turn up for GA probably a not insubstantial factor
  18. What’s the breakdown of average group size for attendance - not all families of 5
  19. Rather see BB in against the Roos to get some seniors time in prep for Sydney and then Adelaide after the blues
  20. Had a 22 leg multi paying 1050-1. Only missed the Richmond legs because they were so [censored] (lynch and Martin goals)
  21. See now the way to fix them up is beat them this week then ensure they don’t win the GF let alone make it. Dees tigers prelim.
  22. I think it will be 303, if he stays in the team. Dogs to beat GWS this week We lose to Tigers. Jones 300 == Week after Tigers beat Dogs, we beat Roos. Both on 6-1 Jones 301 Dogs 1st on % unless we fl()g (is censored?! WTF?) NM and Tigers flay Dogs. == Week after Swans at G, we win Dogs Blues they win Dogs 1st on % Jones 302 == Carlton @ G, we win Dogs @ Port, they lose Dees 1st by a game Jones @ 303 on top.
  23. Kossie 4+ goals might be a high risk high reward in my multi bet on this one...I have him at 2+. I think there'll be a lot of opportunities unless ?Weid and Tmac dominates and take lots of marks.
  24. If we’d won 3/4 I would still be grateful for every win and not be cocky because it could all go south quickly It’s up to us to prove them wrong My Aunty - a mad tigers supporter like all mums side of the family - though, is desperate for the Dees to win this flag. She has this weird Goodwin fixation which is a little worriesome TBH Mum is up from Melb this weekend and she will be insufferable - she’s one of those for Whom these wins have gone to their heads (and she’s never been into the footy!) ?????‍♂️?

Technically that is one question, and the response might be: are the two mutually exclusive?
