  1. Glad Bedford took my advice and got that mo back on his visage
  2. Good kicking is good footy goal kicking practice needed - it didn’t have to be like this šŸ‘€šŸ‘€
  3. The purported Paramount+/Ten deal would see I think only 2 FTA games/week? Someone feel free to correct me
  4. if you had the free Kayo sub whilst a Telstra mobile customer, and converted to a Kayo account, you were on $5 / mo for I think 12 months and they've extended the $10/mo for an extra I think 1 year.
  5. Channel 7 would probably prefer the eyeballs from Demons games = ads. Especially with all the goals we kick!!!oneoneno111 #amirite Foxtel would obviously prefer you subscribe. Still a good deal (I'm on Telstra's $10/m deal until mid 2023). All of the golf majors which aren't on FTA, on Foxtel. Cycling too. The AFL doesn't care, as long as they maximise their broadcast revenue.
  6. Jesus can you imagine giving up multiple weekly rounds at Royal Melbourne, Peninsula with Hunt, etc etc. Madness!
  7. Kellie underwood can drop her ā€œfill their bootsā€ nonsense jeepers the world has changed, friends when a 74 point flogging of the eagles at Optus is still not enough how the worm has turned still not accustomed to it
  8. Jeepers this kicking could cost a flag good kicking is good footy
  9. Greetings from near Lismore where it’s still raining. It’s been wet since November. God it’s miserable. Hopefully a light from the west today.
  10. I'd be happy for this day to become known as either The other 186 - we keep them to 2 points and post a salutary 188 286. We win by 286. In which they also only kick 2 points. /Hubris mode off. 4 points please and some straight kicking at goal. Continue the run of us kicking 100+ and keeping them to say 50.
  11. Only if you want it to be. Golf, surfing, cycling, moutainbiking are ready-made getaways.
  12. These ā€œwhat they’re sayingā€ are my fave so the lack of both ā€œ we’ll be roonedā€ and ā€œwe’ll beat themā€ posts from the West is terribly disappointing
  13. I reckon most MCC members aren’t trimming the Balvenie and wagyu budget and Netflix in the face of our current inflationary pressures and 0.25 RBA OCR target increase
  14. I smell hubris!! šŸ‘€šŸ‘€šŸ‘€
  15. Knowing us, Cunnington will come back, have 55 possessions, kick 11 goals, and we’ll win with a point after the siren. Kicked from right in front in the goal square. MFCSS strikes again šŸ‘€šŸ˜‚šŸ’ŖšŸ¤·šŸ’™ā¤ļø
  16. He’s actually a really smart cat. Listen to his Tim Ferris interview
  17. So you’re not a fan then.
  18. This - after cairns let’s run them off their feet
  19. Yep like I keep posting -> https://bjsm.bmj.com/content/54/19/1174
  20. How’s Corsica? High on my todo list along with Sardinia. Perhaps when we park up in Nice next time post Carcasonne, Cadaques, Mont Ventoux (my spiritual home in France).
  21. Bedford needs his nasty mo’ back!! Played well. Lucky the Hawks kicked poorly - disappointing to lose % but take the 4 points. That’s the first time in a long time in a game that close I wasn’t truly concerned which was weird
  22. What part of covid is nonsense?
  23. This is going to get very messy very quickly Reinfections aren’t even a question (to the comments ā€œI believe it’s possibleā€). It’s happening right now. Most states don’t publish data on it (some don’t even record it). Not yet anyway. Victoria I think does, with IIRC 10k reinfections but I didn’t look at the breakdowns by variant, time lags etc. Infection doesn’t confer immunity forever either. With the new BA.4 and new 2.x.x.x (forgot its exact strain), expected to become the dominant strains really quickly, and with their infectiousness at the same level as measles (which should alarm everyone given vaccines aren’t sterilising), things are going to get a little wild. Not sure what the AFL can do. What happens if an entire best 22 is knocked out. At some point too, I wonder if we’ll need to consider getting away from the idea a player will have mild/no symptoms then hit the track again right away. This seems to imply a measure of caution may be needed: https://bjsm.bmj.com/content/54/19/1174 On a personal level, masks are probably a prudent precaution when in public. Be interesting to see how things progress with the Brace TB vaccine trial vs Covid goes and whether prophylactics like the Heparin nasal spray start to come into play. Or the US Army one. Brace: https://www.mcri.edu.au/brace Heparin: https://www.unimelb.edu.au/newsroom/news/2021/december/nasal-spray-to-fight-covid-19-heads-to-clinical-trial US Army: https://www.cnet.com/health/a-universal-vaccine-to-end-covid-pandemics-its-in-the-armys-sights/
  24. Then there’s this from the BJSM https://bjsm.bmj.com/content/54/19/1174
