I’ve been in covid iso this week and been replacing rotten timber on exposed end of my deck. Having run string lines for every 5th board I would like to line up before a firing squad whomever laid it originally as it’s as crooked as a politician. It has been a nightmare to straighten and space properly (ie 5-8mm not 0.5mm). I don’t want to even start on posts set into the ground (sloping block) and lack of termite barrier . Dear god.
