  1. The problem with persisting with our current coaching and football department personnel (not anyone specifically - just generally), is we’ll see an exodus of quality I think. Just a general statement and not saying McVee is gone. A wholesale makeover needed I reckon
  2. This is gold https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2025/jul/09/ato-commissioner-sent-ai-meme-mocking-collingwood-afl-supporters-to-all-20000-staff

  5. It’s a revelation But a bit like trying to shoot under 8 Every 6 holes/ 1 GIR 1 double bogey Etc etc Except, we are pus
  6. The way we’re going With the list we had After 21-23 Who gives a [censored] What a waste
  7. This I would be excising Brutal and cold
  8. unlike in Star Wars where there was a new hope, with us it is just nope there is no hope
  9. This club has become the unmaker of worlds It’s as if we’re channeling Oppenheimer
  10. should be front page news online at DomainFax and NotYourABC but not I demand a royal Commission! What a loss
  11. Just stopping by for my obligatory game day “good kicking is good footy” drive by. Bad kicking really is axiomatic of the Melbourne Football Club isn’t it. Crazy
  12. ****house football, kicking and effort in some cases Whether the cause is player coach or both, the outcome it clear?
  13. Manageable though How’d the PR going to be after a flag, 2 straight sets then 3 years bottom 6? Pretty bad I imagine
  14. This The team selection integrity is, well, not so integrity-ish
  15. Comeback - “2021, beeyartches. You’re the nepo babies with [censored] game day activations and still can’t make the finals. LOSERS!”
  16. I didn’t take it as a shot Mine is a genuine question on commercial /contract law lines Everyone is guessing on the actual number unless they see the contract My point is if he is on 1M, depending how the contract is structured it could be anything : it could be half this years and all next plus whatever AFL penalty (what’s that about, the FD tax of 75% - it’s a penalty for exceeding the soft cap?) Leaving that aside, one needs to consider what another year does to memberships. Is the payout going to be lower than the membership loss? What about gate takings? I’m not being snarky, these are real considerations I think. PS these threads can run long and not everyone reads every single post so could easily miss a few with numbers in them
  17. It’s amazing no one muscles up on him Rrrrrrrreally makes him earn it with some rolleD gold niggle
  18. unless everyone knows the annual salary, then no, not everyone knows the potential payout. Leaving that aside, my question is strictly to the commmercial/contract law people and only in general terms as I suspect no one here is privy to the details I find the drive by’s at each other “how could you not know this?!??!1111oneone” unhelpful and fairly infantile TBH
  19. So he’s out performing our team at present then
  20. Why would we have to pay 1M for this season when the year is half over? Is it because there is a failure to complete ALL of the contract this year (to 23:59::99 on 31/12/2025)? Not a commercial/contract lawyer, so a serious question
  21. We are not a serious club
  22. Because we are as weak as pss
  23. I love Hardwick comparing to Collingwood Would have loved him to be at the club when Gus happened.
