I generally enjoy listening to the dee brief and appreciate the work they do to provide dees content to us for free. Cados and Ryan have been excellent listens when they are on due to their insightful analysis and calm demeanour. Its actually more cathartic to me sometimes to here a glass half full analysis and cados and ryan both seem to lean that way which i like. This episode was interesting and maybe not the most polished as it would go off the rails then be righted again and then go off down another tangental rabbit hole. There were some obvious inconsistencies in arguments offered throughout. I thought the ranting and raving about supposed mistreatment of jonesy r.e. not playing him in the granny was a little odd given how forthright some especially adrian has been in essentially calling to trade one of clarry, tracc or vines at years end. Also I was under the impression Jonesy left to see the birth of his twins before the club decided about the 23 that would play so again a potentially misplaced criticism by the deebrief. The hyperbolic "buckley will be our saviour" chat didn't resonate with me but everyone's entitled to their opinion. If anything, that episode demonstrates that every Dees fan needs a win tomorrow to pep us up even if just momentarily.

Game was really lost on the back of not cashing in during the first quarter while we had momentum. Adelaide were always going to get on top but to not put it on the scoreboard when we were playing well killed us. Great observation Redleg, that was a horrendous passage from the umpires, couldn't believe it wasnt reversed. Gold Coast had the rub of the green all day from the umps so was in character.

It's laughable how much the media is in bed with Collingwood, within minutes of the end of the Collingwood game, Fox Footy already have come out with a video launching a full force defence of Nick Daicos and complaining about him getting tagged. I mean are you having a laugh, there is not a single other player in the league that would be defended in this manner. Wasn't it the case that Port's thug like tactics on Max a couple of years ago were lauded by the media as a smart tactical move. But no, as soon as you lay a finger on the golden boy you are consigned to damnation by the media. They simply are not even trying to hide their bias anymore.
