I was only 8 at the time and the family and friends had series tickets for the front row, top deck, old Olympic stand, up against the mesh of the MCC reserve fence. I remember the commentators expected us to win easily. My only strong memory of the game is the relief and joy when we all jumped in the air at the final siren.

I posted on demonology 8 or 9 years ago simply because it was the first fan site I found. It was just after the brothers tried to take over the site. There was a chap by the name of Jarrad who was running it then. I think he hoped to generate enough income from the site to cover hosting and license costs but there was never enough traffic. Then Radar? took over the management. I organised the Grinter? votes per round for a number of seasons, which was ok when we won, but a dead loss when we lost (Me myself and I plus number one son had to vote to make up the numbers). Whether it was Demonology or Demonland it was always passionate (sometimes crazed) supporters of the MFC.

Ah crikey now there is a rumour on Demonland (full of agent provocateurs, fifth columnists and fellow travellers) that the game Casey vs NM was played last night and we won by 15+goals. This is impossible as the side hasn't offically been published yet on the website. I think I have over done it on the Robbie Flower Commerative Port as BT is making sense....ah [censored] the cats knocked over my sherry...

Half expect to see Cam Bruce or Junior run past. 4 X Factor - Kozzie has it by the bucketful and our opponents don't like it 5 The back line - Tomlinson has been a great addition 6 Game plan - they say it is simpler 7 Gawn backup - Jackson can relieve in the ruck and can go forward and score 8 jenny Craig? - TMac has lost weight but not strength; 9 Mark Williams - so the players say 10 Maturity - the Club had the maturity to get Jones to 300 when some may have said play a future prospect. Players seem happy with that. 11 Self belief - I have yet to see the players doubt that they will win

By Jingoes, Golly Gosh. This thread has been going around in circles since Norm got the boot. I believe, my friends, that an announcement will be made within the next 4 weeks on a preferred site. Unfortunately whether that announcement will be definitive or a wish list I do not know.
