If I may, I would like to state that I am a supporter of the MFC. As such I believe in public praise and private criticism. Probably explains why I have been rather quiet. Goody is a legend of the club, rightly so, but after 10 years, if you cant defend a 46 point lead against St kilda, whats the point?? The emperor has no clothes, or rather the playing group ripped them off him. Whether this is the right decision or not, time cant tell, as you need teams playing in parallel universes to really determine that. One thing I will say if the club cant develop or recruit a key forward or 2, who the coach is irrelevant.

Well I suppose third parties = manager. But anyway the Saints seem to have a couple who want out. Miochek not happy at the Pies. TDK wants out of Carlton, all year. OHenry not happy at the Cats. I assume there are few at the Bombers who wants to get away from Scott. Butters wants out of PA? That Harley Reid chap wanted out of WC before he got there. Allegedly Lever wanted out but now wants to stay. That Wade chaps supposedly wants to come to the Dees from ? etc

As long as he plays 4 quarters. His stats look good until you realise he got like 10 disposals in 1 quarter.

I thought the Dogs top 10 players were really good but then their team tapers off really quick. Probably why they are outside the 8. Dees overall is a better team but lacks top end class, especially in front of goals. If Nauts was in a Dees jumper.....

Seems like every ex premiership coach is getting in early saying they dont want the job, even if they had no chance. In that vein, I am not interested in coaching the MFC, but will continue with my various interests in the back yard.

Club has come a long way since the chief selection criteria for a coach was price point. Remember when we appointed Northey because he was the cheapest?
