Training Ground?
Also note that the multi purpose ovals x 2 and fields x 1 were originally proposed to be in sections 8 and 9.

Training Ground?
No the tunnel marked 7 is the Guineas tunnel. MRC tunnel if further to the left which comes out between sections 4 and 5. Note there was going to be a new tunnel from the Neerim Rd stables area (our 2nd option) but this tunnel is not going ahead - too expensive.

Training Ground?
Let me handle this one Red. Not on race days and not at the same time, though there will be 2 ovals. The bigger question is where is the school going to play cricket?? (My current understanding is that the Trust will own and maintain the sporting facilities in the middle of the race course and the MFC will have excluive rights to those facilities for xx hours per week).

Training Ground?
Love that For the last time.... Anyway the MFC brick and mortar facilities will be built on what iis currently known as the Guineas Car Park, 20 Normanby Rd. When exiting Caulfield Station towards the race course look to your left. This car park is currently leased by the MRC. Whether we lease this land directly from the MRC or they renegotiate their lease and we deal directly with the Trust I do not know.

For fund raising purposes I think we should make the gap $31M

Wade Derksen
Do you have stats for other game ranges? The only problem I have with giving up late picks is you miss out on a TMc.

I consider him to be the sultan of swing men. Mark my words if we dont get him we will be in dire straits.

I have no doubt that the deal might be done, but what about funding?

Brad Green and the current board
I'm sure I read that somewhere but you might be right. He has been on the board since 2020.

Melbourne Football Club - The CEO
Apparently Guerra officially starts tomorrow, Monday 8th of September.

Brad Green and the current board
No. It was in Brads interview published earlier in the week on the MFC website. Rennick is stepping down because he has to according to club rules. The interesting thing is that they are not going to fill his casual vacancy.

Training Ground?
In 2018 the MRC signed a 65 year lease. This includes the guineas car park. There was a disagreement over the amount of rent to be paid and an independent valuer set the rental at $333,333 per annum for the next 10 years. Source is the CRRT Annual Report 22/23. fyi

Training Ground?
Well it has always been there but our preferred option was the MCG precinct. Obviously that option has withered but also our needs have got larger with the growth in AFLW. Furthermore Caulfield would have ben a difficult proposition with horse training going on but this is no longer the case. Training has moved out in recent times. And compared with 50 or 100 years ago no one goes to the races anymore. Hence the closure of the guineas grandstand and the flat. The Caulfield Cup drew 25k people last time. The MRC probably wants to reduce their onsite footprint to save $$$ and invest in an updated grandstand. Also the Govt is determined to get better value out of public assests. Timing is right.

Training Ground?
Dont be ridiculous. We will need a tunnel so it will be part of the SRL.

Training Ground?
I dont think the MRC would have been too keen on a herd of footballers crossing the track on a regular basis. Though dog walkers do it all the time. And a new tunnel would be expensive. I am sure the positioning of the ovals can be reconfigured.
