Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
I'd much prefer Gus as a mid than Harmes. I hope he gets mid time this year to (again) show what he is capable of. My comment is prompted after watching some highlights of the Adelaide game this year where Gus went into the mid mix and brilliantly combined with Gawn. Now that his concussion issues are (hopefully) behind him, and he has had his best season since 2018, get Gus into the guts Goody!!!!

AFL Commentary teams - How good is Daisy Pearce
I'm amazed (and somewhat angered) at the number of negative social media comments I've read about Daisy as a commentator (both male and female). I didn't think anyone would / could object to a highly intelligent and extremely footy-smart commentator on our screens - but there you go. I guess there are still a few Neanderthal boys-club types about. I also amazed that Channel 7 don't listen to their audience and replace B and BT once and for all.

2022 Injury List
This pic now explains the round marks you see on Tracโs legs every time he plays. I used to think they were cupping bruises. Thanks for solving the mystery.

Training Ground?
OD, the last time you had such a negative attitude you were threatened with deportation back to Qld - where, back in '21, while holidaying, you amazed us by submitting extremely positive posts. Who'd have thought it? After these last comments about our facilities I think its time for another holiday mate.

TRAINING: Friday 11th February 2022
I know its only Wednesday, but I am so longing for Friday's dose of the Picket report! Luv the intros. And while we've had the "Lost in Space" and "Star Trek" themes to date, I have this mental image of Picket as being more our "Resident Alien" - he is definitely from another planet, but we luv him anyway!

2022 Champion Data Rankings
Who TF cares what CD say. We have the only elite team in the competition, as measured by the new shiny cup that sits proudly in our cupboard. And Iโm sure each member of that team could care less about perceived individual ratings devised by some almost irrelevant click bait factory.

Year of the Tiger
Year of the Tiger? Nah - more like the Decade of the Demon!

Farewell Luke Jackson
I read somewhere that Jacko is now sporting a few extra ink pics following the GF. One way to check if he is going or staying is to check the tats. If he has a demon tat, heโs staying. If not, there will be no contract extension. Simple.

Part 5: Dees top 100 of the past 50 years โ (the top 20)
Fantastic effort D, and much appreciated by all of us. Must have taken you months to prepare this thesis! I have absolutely no criticism of your work but I do have a question about the Viney's. You rate Todd at 11 and Jack at 19. Can I ask why you then had Jack as "rover" and Todd on the bench?

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
just the other day I watched the Kayo mini of this game. They showed the lightning break - which was mid way through the last quarter

Farewell Luke Jackson
I was hoping that a premiership would have stopped this type of โsky fallingโ conjecture.

Around the grounds.
Lockett didnโt even play - he was out injured.

Hunt v Bowey and Hibberd v ??
Why would we move the all Australian full back away from that position?

Has 186 been laid to rest?
I'm a bit like demonstone, WCW. I've bathed in the afterglow for long enough. But it was so sweet that I want more. I'm now in that early expectation / excitement phase for that next one. Bit like sex really.

Training Ground?
If the works won't be finished till May, then the turf won't be doing much growing / establishing over the winter period. It will therefore likely to be at least the end of Spring before it will be ready IMO.

Weid Hits the Ground Running
Iโd like to think that by round 6 Weidโs form at Casey will be such that he forces his way into the CHF role in the ones at TMacโs expense - and will stay there for the rest of the year.

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
Iโve always disliked Bradshaw the commentator. But his bang. Bang bang bang! comment I thought was a great bit of spontaneous commentary., until ... i was watching the Melb vs Geelong replay of their final round clash. Geelong has just kicked 4 goals in a row of which Hawkins kicked the last 3. Hamish McLachlan states that Hawkins had gone โbang, bang, bangโ after Hawkins third. Iโve gone back to seriously disliking Bradshaw the commentator all over again.

Glenn Boland
I would have thought that with a name like that heโd be more a lover than a fighter BBO.

Best Way to Watch
I found itโs all relative Grr-owl. Expat salaries, from my experience in the ME, more than compensated for the high cost of communication services. Although the internet quality was rather poor from memory. I spent time in Bahrain, Qatar and UAE (Dubai) - about 7 years in total - but found the air conditioning supply costs in Qatar ( district cooling supply - where cold air is supplied to your building in a similar manor to water or power) to be the biggest rip off - far more so than internet charges. But you cannot live without aircon in the ME, so what can you do? While there certainly isnโt any real choice in service provider, and costs are high, expats generally get paid far more than they would back home - why else would you be there? So I really couldnโt complain.
