  1. Josh, I’d watch those kids with her if I was you.
  2. I don’t think anyone playing in the afl today could replace Kozzie. I also hope the players are not as overconfident as a lot on here are. While I hope you are correct, I think it will be a mighty challenge for us.
  3. FFS Daz, leave the kid alone. I’m sick of hearing this same comment from you. Once is understandable, but it must be half a dozen times now. The football department obviously see more in him than you do. And with no disrespect, I am placing my faith in them. I just hope Joel gets a good run at it this year and is able to prove himself. He won’t be lining up tomorrow night, but best wishes for the season Joel. Hope it’s your year to shine.
  4. Yep, and a Dees verses Pies Grand Final would be just perfect.
  5. The question is too difficult for me - I’m happy to leave it to the selectors and /or Werridee.
  6. I don’t see the point in sticking the boot into past players. If he was not good enough to make it at the Dees, so what? It happens. If other teams want them after we don’t, then good luck to them. Baker has my best wishes.
  7. One aspect that impressed me compared to last year was the forward half pressure. We had 21 tackles in our forward 50. Dogs had 9. (Pies had 12, Tigers 16, Swans 12 and Port 6 by comparison). Kozzie and Chandler leading the way. Great improvement.
  8. Our VFL depth got thrashed today against the dogs - now I’m nervous
  9. Chook, you saying Jonte is not quality?
  10. I feel dirty saying it, but the Pies look hot.
  11. Yesterday I saw a numberplate that read BBB8ON. I took it as a sign that Benny Brown was on for 8 goals tonight.
  12. I received one of those Nth Melb emails a couple of days ago, about 7 days after I renewed my membership. Being in Sydney I haven’t purchased any seating this year as yet. Not very impressed at all. I can’t live with the thought that someone thinks I might follow Nth.
  13. How about being a little bit more positive. May’s injury will give an opportunity to Turner or perhaps Schache. Either choice would be great to see. We complained last year about playing injured players and not blooding players. Well now we have the opportunity to rectify that. I’m sure these guys will not let us down. Can’t wait for Saturday night.

I’m sure you’re right Gonzo, it was a very tongue in cheek comment. Apologies to Gator - you must feel insulted by the inference

Talking about “he’s back”, can someone please confirm the timing of when ProDee disappeared off these pages and then recently reappeared as Gator; and compare that to the timing of when TM was sacked and when he recently reappeared? My gut feel is that TM is ProDee / Gator - but I could be wrong.
  16. I also note he didn’t hand over his premiership medallion - shows which of the two medals is most important to him.
  17. Haha That’s not it at all Jaded, most posters are just scared of you.
  18. Why should it be any harder for a female on here Layzie? It really shouldn’t. If it is then that’s our (males) fault, and we need to be more aware of this and be better. This site is a better place for the ladies we do have posting - I wish we had more.
  19. I can understand the drinking WCW. It’s tough when you actually hit 30.
  20. Now we are listening Hawk. Thank you
  21. That’s an overused word on this site DJ.
  22. Perhaps Binny, 2022 was the year we spent loading for 2023
  23. Luci, while I agree in principle with what you say, I would have thought that Chandler was better placed than any player on the ground to know the nuances of the winds at Casey and realistically what he can and cannot kick there distance wise.
  24. With respect rjay, I’d prefer a fit average quality player to an unfit top 22 player for a crucial final any day of the week. At least they will run out the whole game, instead of collapsing in a heap after half time. If we did in fact have 5-6 injured players then that is incredibly bad luck. Playing those injured players in a final is incredibly poor management imv.
  25. From what you’ve told me privately WCW, I’m hoping that Fritta has now responded well to the strong antibiotics and as a result amputation of his infected big toe is no longer necessary? Can you at least confirm that?
