We should be aiming for harm minimization via quality control and using the tax revenue generated for education on using certain substances safely. Things like cannabis, MDMA and cocaine should absolutely be legal (although I would draw a line in the sand with meth). I think you'll find alcohol produces more social issues than any other substance. Anyone opposed to drug legalization should by virtue be pro alcohol prohibition.
