I don’t agree the club is obligated to provide a running commentary on complex financial matters involving state government to its members. The updates we get are alright by me. The integrity of the negotiation process is more important, and announcing this level of detail prior to a successful deal can only harm that integrity. If the government is being stubborn about our requests, calling them out for it will only get them more offside.

People seem to be missing the point of this thread (unless I'm missing the mark here) We are undoubtedly going to face salary cap issues in the coming years. This will need to be managed really well by the club In addition to the obvious ones already mentioned, I would consider moving hunt along while he has value. He's too inconsistent for mine. Handy depth yes, but he's hardly a critical piece.

Transparency equals intelligence for opposing teams. I'd rather keep them guessing personally, even if it only generates the slightest of strategic advantage.
