Looked like a clean hit. You get these guys running around like badass faux tough guys pushing, shoving etc so there is always a touch of irony when they get put on their arse. Gaff looks like a great pick up next year if the price is right.

Angus Brayshaw
Looking over the comments on Demonland I think any trade will be difficult. The consensus is that he is tougher than Jack Viney, faster than Jayden Hunt, better by foot than Clayton Oliver and has a tank better than ANB so taking all of the above traits into account you are looking at a guy who could break all records maybe upwards of 2.5 mil a year. I don’t think we could afford that and again based on that if Bryce Gibbs is worth two first round picks this guy would have to worth maybe four making it difficult for other clubs though the Roos and Freo have a little cash so with a few picks may play a few cards.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
The club needs to get the next few years right. Losing Hogan is a bad idea, just very hard to replace. The midfield group is where we should be looking for trades.

Oscar has been horribly exposed from the minute Lever went down, Lever was covering up a lot of cracks in the defence. There is another chap in WA who I believe is a RFA called Jeremy McGovern, he can play a bit but no idea where those negotiations are at.

The Need for Outside Midfielders
Good to finally see a mature debate on this topic. Our inside mids are playing well competing for clearances and initiating inside 50’s but the outside group is still an issue. Tyson has not come one and arguably gone backwards, Brayshaw cannot kick, is lazy, slow and a witches hat defensively- they either run through him or step around him, ANB is a great athlete but also lacks polish with delivery. The best at kicking to advantage inside 50 right now is Gawn, Harmes, Viney and Melksham. Fritsch has real talent and is worth a try, Hannan has been raised as an option too, he’s out of form up forward and seems to be flying rather than crumbing - the opposite of Hogan in recent times, Hannan has pace, a good tank and can deliver so also worth thinking about.

Jordan De Goey
In the normal run of events I would agree but the Tom Lynch factor comes into this. From all reports their cap is running tight, Pendlebury and Sidebottom would be eating up a bit and they had to shell out the dollars to lure Adams and Treloar to the club. Can they find all that money even at 800k for De Goey and still find the cash for Lynch whom they have been openly chasing?

Jordan De Goey
The Kangas have put up a mil a year over 5 years so would have to be a chance to get him now.

Best outside mid can't be the guy that is the worst field kick in the team sorry. An being an outside mid doesn't mean that you traipse around for 120 minutes and not manage to find a single guy wearing black and white to maybe you know.. tackle

For sure if Vanders comes back 100%. We need to be looking ahead to finals footy now and Vanders is the type of guy that is going to be handy in that environment if right. You can't play a guy like Angus in finals, he would be like a deer in the headlights.

Sign up now on Jetta and Harmes. JKH is a delisting, Brayshaw a delisting or trade if you can get one for him, as we saw with Jack Watts clubs are not lining up to sign guys with zero aggression and that cant lay a tackle and Brayshaw is really another Watts without the foot skills. Wouldn’t mind seeing Vandenberg when he returns, he was going alright when up and running.

Jordan De Goey
Only problem I see with De Goey is that the dude can’t kick straight
-
Jordan Lewis is absolutely cooked, never pick him again
Lewis was a long way from being our worst player.
-
Adelaide’s Tom Lynch
Yep, Bernie basically made him invisible.

Is Brayshaw more rounded than the Trac?
The Brayshaw love on this forum is off the chart, Bradshaw represents everything this club has been for a long time nice, predicable and average while Petracca represents everything many associated with this club dislike, unbelievably talented with a touch a touch of swagger and unpredictability. Come 2020 Bradshaw will still be an average player who can’t hit the side of a barn and Petracca will be one of the premier players in the competition.
-
Angus Brayshaw
Brayshaw’s kicking on either side is generally average, a game high 8 turnovers today supports that as fact. If you think his tackling was fine rewatch the third quarter, StKilda players were walking straight through him.
-
Angus Brayshaw
The problem is that he’s a very ordinary tackler which is noticeable today through the third quarter so not really an alternative to quality tacklers on the inside like Viney, Jones and Oliver and a terrible kick so can’t replace quality kicks of the footy outside like Salem, Harmes etc.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Lol good call and a decent player too make that Brayshaw.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Good young defender, I would be looking to trade Bradshaw to get this deal done.

Josh Kelly
Good player but from what I am hearing the peptiders are in poll position on this one. With Jobe, Stanton and a few others finishing up they have a lot to play with.
