  1. He is always nothing more than ordinary, skills are way below AFL standard.
  2. 1. Jackson has helped Gawn and plays that role really well, good mover for a big guy. 2. Salem has stepped up, always had potential but now is a very good player 3. Petracca and Clarry are both now elite AFL players along with Max. 4. We now have one of the best leadership groups in the competition. There was a play last night straight after a Demons goal where the Tigers cleared from the centre bounce and goals in a few seconds (Prestia maybe?) I saw Max go straight to Viney and Oliver for a quick chat and that didnt happen again, great stuff. 5. Defence is now really solid with May and Tomlinson able to play on the bigger talls leaving our defensive genius Lever more options 6. At ground level last night the leg speed of some our players Hunt, Kosi etc is brilliant and both have stepped up a level this year 7. Can underestimate Viney, he plays as a defensive midfielder and does it brilliantly 8. Others playing well this year Frisch, Langdon all linking up well Theres alot more but that's some of the things I have noted this season
  3. 6 - Salem Best player on the ground and one of very few Demons composed in that first 15 minutes 5- Lever 4- Tmac 3- Trac 2- Viney 1- Hibbo
  4. 100% agree on that re our defence. In attack Goodwin has already said both Weideman & BBB are ready to go so expect both to play.
  5. Honestly Tmac is far better in the air than Brayshaw, far quicker and better by foot - there is no comparison.
  6. Thats probably the reality Tmac is tall quick and can deliver by foot while Brayshaw is just plodding so easy swap there.
  7. Agree with the comments on Spargo he worked hard and hit the packs at speed, good game with him Kosi and Melksham up and running around the taller forwards we can create something great up there. Agreed on Olivers game today somewhat untidy and not too his usual brilliant level but that happens.
  8. We were flat for much of the day coming off a tough match last week but eventually ran away with it. 6. Lever 5. Tmac 4. Gawn 3. Petracca 2. Salom 1. Kosi Langdon & Melkshem were also great!
  9. 6. Lever 5. Viney 4. Petracca 3. Gawn 2. Oliver 1. Fritsch
  10. 6. Hunt 5. Langdon 4. Lever 3. Gawn 2. Petracca 1. Viney
  11. Gotta say I am genuinely delighted to welcome Ben to the club. He is tall, moves well, leads well has good hands and is a quality set shot. Some of of our guys will need to be retrained on how to kick to a leading forward but this is positive. I hear from good sources that he is a good guy around the club as well, so welcome Ben lets hit up those leads make it work and have this guy as a Demon for life.
  12. When on he is super skilled almost freakish at times but really fades in and out of games. I liked him but consistency was an issue, even over four quarters.
  13. Unfortunately Collingwood will win because they have a lot more to play for. We will be good in parts but really the season is well over so we will have to put up with those belligerent black and white mongrels all day yet again.
  14. Agreed, a club falling from 4th to 17th in a year should trigger a full review or this crew are not fair dinkum.
  15. Absolutely fantastic effort tonight by the boys, play with that intent every week and we will win more games than we lose.
  16. There was a bit to like about Big Preuss, great frame can hit hard though I was a bit [censored] that he was wandering around at one point holding his shoulder, the wrecking ball wrecks [censored] it doesn’t get wrecked so he needs to sort that out. Hit outs were irrelevant last night it didn’t matter who we had contesting the ruck Sydney were useless, in the middle and around the ground, Preuss worked it out early and was just running in and grabbing it something Max started doing late as well.
  17. 6. Petracca 5. Hunt 4. Harmes 3. Gawn 2. Hore 1. Viney Special mention to Weidemann who did some great things. That tackle on Heaney was super and hopefully some of the others who were standing around at the time spectating a metre or two away when he made that tackle learn from him.
  18. Righto I have seen enough of this [censored] in the last three weeks and it’s time to stand up. Pruess needs to play like the mummy over at GWS and use his frame to rag doll every mofo in his way, the soft [censored] umpiring this game specially if they are as inept as the crew we had last week won’t like that but take free kick against and move on, there is no substitute for physicality in this game. ANB, Frost and Oscar have been useless as has Jones and Brayshaw still can’t hit the side of a barn. Frost on paper is the best match for Frankie and this should be his sink or swim moment, if you can’t perform one job you’re fired. We have the ability to win, the new rules have hurt us more than others and the coaching staff have been slow to adjust. Keep the faith my fellow Demons but the immediate future is tough, and we need to change while making some difficult decisions but the rewards will only come from a proactive and decisive approach to the challenges the club now faces. Be brave, be decisive and strike hard as all Demons should.
  19. May is a terrific in, along with Davis they look to be the two new gun Gorilla stoppers and we desperately need that having been smashed by the Hawkins, Darling and Kennedy types in matches when it counted. Oscar will be a depth player back as Casey and lets not forget about Lever, our genius intercept player will return next year with a serious large key defender beside him like a Talia when he played his best football at the Crows.
  20. Thoroughly well deserved Demonland win by Oliver, a few good options this year but he has been super.
  21. Not totally sure if you are serious pal but trusting in the likes of Nicholls and Razor is a fools game, there is a reason why some of the greatest players ever think Lethal, Carey and Ablett Senior have zero brownlows between them. The whole Brownlow thing suits guys that run around on their own collecting cheap kicks even if the cant actually kick a footy think Harvey, Round and Martin. Accountable players like Oliver, Viney and Harmes don't run around collecting the easy kicks so aren't likely to win one, Brayshaw might he ticks a few of the boxes, forget about Maxy, super season again but not collecting anywhere near enough cheap possession to win a Brownlow. Jesse Hogan was up there with the very best forward in the first half and don't see his name anywhere. All in all do what I do, don't bother watching the Brownlow, when you put any focus on the opinions of Razor and his mates you have lost the plot.
  22. Th Eagles of 2018 are not a great side McGovern cutting off everything bombed forward is the biggest threat, Shuey can play but Harmes can hold him Kennedy will never have played on a guy with the speed of Frost, the Demons can win this game.
