CHANGES: Rd 09 vs Carlton
He is always nothing more than ordinary, skills are way below AFL standard.

Whats changed?
1. Jackson has helped Gawn and plays that role really well, good mover for a big guy. 2. Salem has stepped up, always had potential but now is a very good player 3. Petracca and Clarry are both now elite AFL players along with Max. 4. We now have one of the best leadership groups in the competition. There was a play last night straight after a Demons goal where the Tigers cleared from the centre bounce and goals in a few seconds (Prestia maybe?) I saw Max go straight to Viney and Oliver for a quick chat and that didnt happen again, great stuff. 5. Defence is now really solid with May and Tomlinson able to play on the bigger talls leaving our defensive genius Lever more options 6. At ground level last night the leg speed of some our players Hunt, Kosi etc is brilliant and both have stepped up a level this year 7. Can underestimate Viney, he plays as a defensive midfielder and does it brilliantly 8. Others playing well this year Frisch, Langdon all linking up well Theres alot more but that's some of the things I have noted this season

CHANGES: Rd 06 vs Richmond
100% agree on that re our defence. In attack Goodwin has already said both Weideman & BBB are ready to go so expect both to play.

The Tom McDonald dilemma
Honestly Tmac is far better in the air than Brayshaw, far quicker and better by foot - there is no comparison.
-
The Tom McDonald dilemma
Thats probably the reality Tmac is tall quick and can deliver by foot while Brayshaw is just plodding so easy swap there.

My 3 word player analysis vs Hawthorn
Agree with the comments on Spargo he worked hard and hit the packs at speed, good game with him Kosi and Melksham up and running around the taller forwards we can create something great up there. Agreed on Olivers game today somewhat untidy and not too his usual brilliant level but that happens.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Gotta say I am genuinely delighted to welcome Ben to the club. He is tall, moves well, leads well has good hands and is a quality set shot. Some of of our guys will need to be retrained on how to kick to a leading forward but this is positive. I hear from good sources that he is a good guy around the club as well, so welcome Ben lets hit up those leads make it work and have this guy as a Demon for life.

Farewell Mitch Hannan
When on he is super skilled almost freakish at times but really fades in and out of games. I liked him but consistency was an issue, even over four quarters.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
There was a bit to like about Big Preuss, great frame can hit hard though I was a bit [censored] that he was wandering around at one point holding his shoulder, the wrecking ball wrecks [censored] it doesn’t get wrecked so he needs to sort that out. Hit outs were irrelevant last night it didn’t matter who we had contesting the ruck Sydney were useless, in the middle and around the ground, Preuss worked it out early and was just running in and grabbing it something Max started doing late as well.

PREGAME: Rd 04 vs Sydney
Righto I have seen enough of this [censored] in the last three weeks and it’s time to stand up. Pruess needs to play like the mummy over at GWS and use his frame to rag doll every mofo in his way, the soft [censored] umpiring this game specially if they are as inept as the crew we had last week won’t like that but take free kick against and move on, there is no substitute for physicality in this game. ANB, Frost and Oscar have been useless as has Jones and Brayshaw still can’t hit the side of a barn. Frost on paper is the best match for Frankie and this should be his sink or swim moment, if you can’t perform one job you’re fired. We have the ability to win, the new rules have hurt us more than others and the coaching staff have been slow to adjust. Keep the faith my fellow Demons but the immediate future is tough, and we need to change while making some difficult decisions but the rewards will only come from a proactive and decisive approach to the challenges the club now faces. Be brave, be decisive and strike hard as all Demons should.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
May is a terrific in, along with Davis they look to be the two new gun Gorilla stoppers and we desperately need that having been smashed by the Hawkins, Darling and Kennedy types in matches when it counted. Oscar will be a depth player back as Casey and lets not forget about Lever, our genius intercept player will return next year with a serious large key defender beside him like a Talia when he played his best football at the Crows.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Were you at the snow for the first couple of months of the year when Hogan would of been leading our B&F pal? Form has slumped but we now know what he can do.
-
Andrew Gaff
And what if the Aliens had landed and actually abducted him?
-
Andrew Gaff
No idea how Titeass is pal but WTF are you on saying Big Demon is a bad guy? Just a reminder this is a contact sport and if a genuinely tough guy like Cunnington can liver punch Bernie and get just a fine Gaff with a mild jab could have almost completely got off. So many fans here turn a blind eye when our own get hit but I don’t.
-
Andrew Gaff
With Gaffs ultra clean record this is ridiculous. Two weeks would have been fair considering the low impact jab on a serial pest but eight is plain crazy. When I saw young Francis of Essendon get a 2K fine for a stock standard bump earlier in the day I thought Gaff might get screwed too.
-
Andrew Gaff
Seems like the world has gone crazy over the Gaffe by Gaff but we even seem to be heading into the realms of nutterism on the normally intelligent Demonland. The real precedent here is the punch by Cunnington on Bernie last year where we wandered over and punched him in the gut, Cunnington is one of the toughest mofos getting around and let me tell you a liver punch is was more painful than a jab on the chin, Cunnington got a fine so that should be the starting precedent here. On another point why is there any mention of legal action? Do you really want normal rules of the land applied at the football? Maybe then we should arrest Bradshaw for the ridiculous pushing and hanging off of Gaff because you cant to that down the Main Street, arrest the shouting fans too defamation all round in some of those comments and just to top it all off the people enjoying your beer at the football now that we have declared the game open for the lawyers to cash in you lot are all stuffed too for drinking in a public place. At least the lawyers future are secured with all this nonsense.
