  1. They knew what they were doing.
  2. Friggen Geelong always kissed on the twigg. Still hiding players away too.
  3. I knew there were zones to distribute the player pool up until the draft, but didn't realise the way they were divided up to the clubs. Explains everything as to why Melbourne weren't successful through the 70's and early to mid 80's. No wonder there is so much hatred for Carlton and Hawthorn to an extent.
  4. That could work in a Three way trade.
  5. Only 1 change for mine unfortunately Weed Out, BBB In.
  6. Burgo working his magic looks Sharper and lighter.
  7. Can't believe we gave the Dogs hope last week. Carlton Crew well and truely finished for the year. Will miss the finals.
  8. I completely missed this, so he ripped this freo jumper off a Jacko cut out i take it? No one messes with Jake the Snake.
  9. All this without BBB and Tmac. To be fair it wasn't the right conditions to be missing their output.
  10. Hibbo well and truly goes around again a revitalised Dee. The lads walk taller when Hibbo's on deck. Melk I'm loving what he is bring back to the table, he does not let interceptors take grabs at all competes above his height range. How about some of those bullet passes.
  11. Can't stand it or him. I just want to smash them up in finals again.
  12. What a "Home" coming to our greatest triumph 10 months ago. 💯🇱🇮🔥🏆🏆
  13. Flogmantle. Really good win back in round 11. A win for the load belivers. Ruthless Dees are back baby!
  14. A win for the load belivers, we all know who we are.
  15. I think this discussion has come up on land before Sheffield FC Est in 1857 is not a professional football club. Sheffield United is a professional Football Club Est in 1889. Sheffield Wednesday is a professinal Football club Est in 1867. Melbourne Football Club is a Professional Football (AFL) Est in 1858.
  16. A clear indicator that i have found when we are supposedly increased our training is the lessed ability of our small forwards to apply pressure. This is a clear performance indicator for our team when this is not happening the rest of our team defensive mechanisms go to 💩 The Small Forward role is the most taxing role on the ground. When Charlie, Kozi, Bedders, ANB and co are on with their intensity teams have no chance of breaking us down. It allows us to set up the rest of the ground to form the much vaunted Dees Squeeze.
  17. Never any doubt same as JV7 negotiations, heart and soul, you trucking little beauty Gussy. #10 #6years
  18. Im sure the club can afford it.😂👌 The Wetcoke supporters might even dust off their GF Demons scarfs and support us on the night.
  19. They have the magic juice at half time and form incredible plans to counteract our awesomeness.
  20. Desire, arousal levels and Energy will all return this Friday night at our Home away from Home. Back on the big stage in front of a national audience, Friday Night Footy the bright lights of Optus stadium. 🏟 Image the kick our boys will get out of being back at Joondalup in and around the resort might even have a bonfire with marshmallows a little recalibration to discuss our plan of assault on the competition. Like we did during our last pre season at Greg Stafford's Farm.
  21. Steven Armstrong won a🏆with Wetcoke and kicked the first goal of the 2006 GF if my memory serves me correctly.
  22. We will be ready come Friday night and beyond. The belief and energy will be back. Back in our people. The other side of the coin is when the pressure is at its greatest in Finals Football teams tend to revert back to old habits when the tough gets going. We have trained and played a certain way consistently for nearly 3 years we believe in our method, these others teams haven't had these moments of realisation that there football stands up. Just go and ask Jeelong.
  23. Agree with your thoughts LH, they clearly targeted Langers as an exit strategy from kick ins so the next time will be prepared for such things. We are getting great looks at all our competitors plans against us which i think is a great thing for our preparations for the finals. Will be curious to see if all these strategies that have been put in place against us stand up against a Melbourne side with high arousal levels in September.
  24. I am keeping the faith in this group the fitness staff and club as a whole this season is a mirroring last lose to Bulldogs in R19 and in R20 we smashed the Suns. This year in R20 we are going "Home" to a stadium where our greatest triumph in 57 years occured we all go to have faith this is a time for togetherness. Enjoy the ride, don't fear it, believe in our Demons, believe in the process.
