Anyone of the Burgess boys is a massive upgrade on Misson. He's been a rotting carcass for the past 3 years. Injuries Galore and not much been improved, thanks for the memories.

Just for a matter of interest what is our football department spend? Where does it rank? I think everyone will find the answer there. Looking at our assistants and fitness department, we would be near the bottom of the list. The performance of both departments have been completely diabolical, I think a total freshen up is in order. A complete and thorough review of both departments mentioned to be undertaken, because this year has been completely unacceptable. The whole issue seems to be that we can't attract decent assistants because of our ability to spend with the bigger clubs. we seem to get the sloppy seconds in every which way.

Spargo was a complete liability, Garlett is not the answer anymore, Lockhart adds more tackling pressure and has better skills. The skills on display today were reminiscent of circa 2008-2013.

2019 Another MFC gap year. Like I've said and many others on this forum for the last month, get the guys that need surgery in now, play the kids, get games into them find out who can play or can't once and for all eg. Stretch, JKH, Oscar, Pruessy, Lockhart, Wagners bros etc. Season is completely shot now, top up with the bonus draft picks which we didn't plan for with 2-3 good kids with good ball use and plan our pre season now. Even get the new fitness guru to look over the squad now, be pro active about next season.
