Jack Viney Restricted Free Agent
Agreed. Good season; av 20 possessions. Strong third in B&F. Gave his all, in difficult personal circumstances. And we have keyboard warriors on this site boasting they'd be happy to 'pack his bags' to leave. Sickening; pathetic; a sad comment.

Its [censored]. Move on.

2020 Keith "Bluey" Truscott Trophy
Think you got the top 6 right. The order of the top 3 could change: ie. while petracca may be the media favourite, either Oliver or May could win.

OUR SEASON
Fritsch enters the ''pretty good' category had he kicked straight. Should have had 6 yesterday.
-
OUR SEASON
Improvements in several areas - notably the strong backline, Petracca's development, and the coming of an excellent winger. (Need another one.) But we were buggered by the almost inexplicable collapse in the form of McDonald and Melksham, our two best forwards in 2018.

Inappropriate Touching
AFL journalism is infested with simpletons: we know that. But the players involved were stupid, especially Hunt who instigated it (while the coach was addressing the players). Looked terrible, all round.
-
OUR SEASON
Others with good seasons: Oliver, Salem, Gawn, Viney (reasonably), Hibberd (reasonably), Lever (reasonably). Significantly, no forwards, other than Petracca.
-
OUR SEASON
Right about Oliver. Petracca's rise has obscured how consistently good he was this year. Will go close to B&F.

Christian Salem
Spot on.

Christian Salem
Another great game. Consistently under-rated.

We desperately need a gun key forward
Certainly need more forward potency - more so than midfielders (about whom people are obsessed).

We desperately need a gun key forward
Yes, Petty has real promise (after a terrible start). But I suspect its down back.

Trade Fritsch
Christ, the insanity virus has struck this site yet again. Bunch of skittish schoolgirls.

Charles Spargo - A Grade Small Defender (2021 Edition)
Make that 'kicks'!

Charles Spargo - A Grade Small Defender (2021 Edition)
His tackling is actually pretty good. He's strong, and getting stronger. Better long term bet than Alex N-B. Licks more goals, too.

Welcome to Demonland: Taj Woewodin
Remarkable. Coleman, Nicholls, Kennedy. One could go on and on and on.
-
Charles Spargo - A Grade Small Defender (2021 Edition)
Yes. There is scope in Spargo - but in the midfield (not defence) as well as up forward. Strong tackler, and creative.

Welcome to Demonland: Taj Woewodin
Kalarni? Taj? Cooper? What happened to Barry, Ray or Gary?
-
Welcome to Demonland: Taj Woewodin
Looks like Trent Rivers' younger brother.

Trade Targets
We have the basis of an outstanding defence, and yes, one dasher down there would be the icing on the cake. Might have been Hunt - once, but they've turned him into a mediocre half forward. (Disposal isn't good enough, too.)

Caroline Wilson on MFC rumblings
Agree with you on this one. Made many good deals.

TMac on the Trade Table?
You might care to read the article on Petracca now up on the MFC web site - and note his acknowledgement of Goodwin. But perhaps you know Christian better than he knows himself.

TMac on the Trade Table?
I don't share your views. I think you're an inveterate whinger with little knowledge of either football and the way football teams operate. The ludicrous criticism of Pickett is an example. His 'stark' lack of composure? He looked pretty composed the other day, when he moved the ball from one end of the ground to the other. Took Goodwin 6 years to get Petracca fit enough? Just stupid and wrong on several counts. Perhaps the silliest comment you've ever made - but there are plenty of contenders.
