I think Joel Smith is going to be great for us going forward. So athletic and courageous. Skills aren't great so I'm not sure how a backline of Oscar McDonald, potentially Tom McDonald too at times and Smith would fit in but promising.

i know its not the jack watts thread but weideman is so far ahead of watts at the same age its not funny. has shown an attack on the ball far superior and also shown better vfl form. weideman is going to be fine.

at the end of the day, a number 1 draft pick is selected to drive direction of your club, be a household name and be the face of the club. definitely botched it but it wasnt a strong draft.

what are you smoking. if you ask any other teamsupporters who are they more scared of when they play us do you think its jack watts. for me, i wouldnt even have him in my top 25 because i think his physical work is just so bad that it trumps anything positive that be brings to the table. pedo who has probably had about 5% of the opportunity of watts has outperformed him already. i agree that hogan has a lot of weaknesses that he needs to work on but he can kick bags of goals which watts never can.
