  1. I found it - AFL NOTICE OF CHARGE 68. Following that meeting, 38 players at the Club signed Patient Information/Informed Consent forms in relation to these four substances. In relation to these substances, those 38 players agreed to: (a) one AOD-9604 injection per week for the season; (b) one Thymosin injection once a week for six weeks and then one injection per month; © two Colostrum daily in each training week and two colostrum post-game. The dose may vary according to training needs; and (d) one Tribulus forte daily in each training week and one Tribulus prior to the game. The dose may vary according to training needs. 69. If the dosages the subject of the Patient Information/Informed Consent forms were administered, the playing group would receive in the order of: (a) more than 1,500 injections of AOD-9064 and Thymosin; and (b) more than 16,500 doses of Colostrum; and © more than 8,000 doses of Tribulus.
  2. Just read Patrick Smith's article. WOW also I find it mind-boggling that they can administer that many injections and pills to players and seem to think they wont get infraction notices - seems to me it is as inevitable as the sun going down.
  3. Tania Hird, in her supposedly spontaneous interview when a News Ltd reporter, video operator and photographer happened to be in place outside her house, says she wants the AFL to tell the truth. It's time her husband fronted the media and did the same, detailing all events, beginning with what happened at the club's pre-season training camp at the Sheraton Mirage in Surfers Paradise in December 2011 and his chance meeting with Shane ''Dr Ageless'' Charter. Hird the main game is still in play Best article yet
  4. Lets just rewind here and have a look at what is motivating the parties involved. Essendon systematically injects its players with illegal performance enhancing drugs. The AFL knows this. An AFL without Essendon loses fans and a game a week - something that dramatically reduces old Andy's pocket, as he gets bonuses according to crowd numbers etc. He wants to protect Essendon and the game as a result. Calling the Bombers and telling them to self report is a no brainer if you know or think that they had been, so is giving their administration penalties inc. fines, no finals etc so that people see justice being done. Essendon the club just wants to play footy but also protect its own. Hird thinks he has done nothing wrong, Lance Armstrong style, and so is deflecting and obscuring from the real issue. At some point Essendon will ex communicate Hird as he is doing them no favours. The AFL is still trying to protect Essendon and its players but Hird is making it very hard. The AFL would sooner burn Hird than Essendon.
  5. One gets the distinct impression that the AFL has been trying to cover essendons butts the whole time (esp. the players)
  6. that weapon seems to be fair and squarely aimed at Essendon, not the AFL
  7. of course, none of the afl officials injected or took illegal performance enhancing drugs...
  8. would that "something nasty" be systematically injecting 95% of the players at essendon with drugs not approved for human use/illegal performance enhancing drugs?
  9. ASADA Disclosure Notice revealed to break 10-month stalemate in banned substances Maybe they aren't ready to interview Dank as they want to have everything else locked away first.
  10. I would suggest ASADA will want Saad to get the full 2 years and to have them from when he stopped training with the saints, as he shouldn't have been training with them while suspended. Essendon have had the feather duster from the AFL in regards to governance.... the multiple 2 year suspensions are still to come.
  11. this is probably why they are appealing. 2 years for a VFL player, 18 months for Saad. VFL player not allowed to train. Saad training. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2013-11-29/banned-vfl-player-queries-saad-punishment the AFL might want to wake the hell up on this, and so might essendon.
  12. Asada is the Australian branch of wada

  14. thanks jabberwocky. this thread now has about 3 posts
  15. they've obviously been told they wont be punished. see the chapman article. this only means that they will be twice as angry when they do get infraction notices...
  16. lets not forget that the feb 7 press conference was an ACC presser, not an ASADA one. ASADA to date have said NOTHING. the same nothing their brothers USADA said before they went BANG to lance.
  17. I don't know about poor governance by the AFL. I would be expecting them to negotiate essendons penalties over their own governance. as per their letter to clubs today, it pretty much knocks whatever allegations of impropriety that the Hun made against them out of the water. im not vlads biggest fan or anything and while I agree that its been handled less than perfectly I wouldn't say that the afl's governance has been extremely poor.
  18. Lets not forget there are 3 separate issues here. 1) players with performance enhancing drugs in their systems. (under investigation by ASADA) 2) extremely poor governance by the EFC (which is what the AFL have punished them for) 3) Occupational Health and Safety (it cant be long before Worksafe becomes involved, surely) and possibly 4) links to criminal activity (under investigation by the ACC)
  19. Gone. will always be able to say he went out swinging.
