ASADA named them in the report. But the full report was only given to a handful of people/agencies. Idiotic.

Would not surprise me if it was essendon in an attempt to discredit ASADA as a continuing effort to paint them as incompetent

Richard ings (former head of asada) on twitter this morning seems to think that all of this info coming out today is just from the uncensored version of the interim report. Which seems highly likely. ASADA he said would have a list of who received that report. Shouldn't be too hard to find out who leaked it ...

ASADA would most likely have access to the ACC information, parts of it anyway.... also if youre interviewed by the ACC you then cant speak to any other agencies (as is my understanding)

Also, it looks as if ASADA has done everything by the book. delloite (spelling?) also said that ASADA have not leaked. if they keep doing everything by the book, itll be bye bye Jab and Essendon, surely.

So people have accused ASADA of causing confusion when in fact they have only said it is banned, and that is a cause of major embarrassment? Why would they be embarrassed about something they haven't done? :huh:

Free to air games need to be divided equally too (I know this is a bit off topic). But I believe that kids/people are more likely to support a team that they are watching on tv. Ie they see the team lots and then end up members. there are teams that you could go for a whole year without seeing on free to air if you have a social life, whereas you might see the hawks/pies on tv 7 or 8 times.

so the guilty verdict comes through yesterday. and we wait for sentencing. Eddie everywhere goes on radio saying how much the Collingwood football club is against violence etc. then says said player who is guilty of a very violent act is fine to keep training and that they will support him. what a disgrace.

Essendon systematically injected their entire list with drugs that were not fit for human consumption. given the implications for players health and not to mention the integrity of the game (with people who have cheated currently playing) they have been slapped over the back of the wrist with a wet lettuce so far. the rest of the clubs are not deterred from the same course of action by the punishments Essendon were given by the AFL, but by the fear of the punishments ASADA NEED to dish out to ensure this never happens again. If ASADA do nothing and nothing happens, there is effectively nothing stopping a club doing the same thing again and claiming it was the result of one rogue operator who becomes the scapegoat, and meanwhile their players reap the benefits for years (yes, YEARS) to come. This is not about Essendon. this is about AFL and sport in general - no one wants to watch sport where some have taken drugs and others haven't.
