I don't understand. How can anyone think that beating ordinary teams will give us a winning culture.

I think you mean pick 64. No one in their right mind would give away a second rounder for Miller.

Bruce's last month or so have been excellent. He had an ordinary game, he wasn't the only one. McLean's last 2 weeks have been good. I would wait until he has a pre season if he is playing like this next year then we have major problems. He should be rested now. It's absolute madness for him to keep on playing. It would be a massive mistake for Robertson to go around again. We need to persist with Morton, Bate, Watts, Martin and Jurrah. He should be dropped. McDonald should have been dropped months ago. He is no longer up to AFL standard he should step aside to give Valenti or McKenzie a go.

He's been all over the papers. Kicked 4 should have had 5 and gave a few off. No contest Anthony will have to wait.

I thought he had an ordinary start to the year but he last 4 to 6 weeks have been superb. He is in better form now than at any time last year and probably hasn't been in this type of form since he got crunched by Guerra.

He better start getting a heap of clearences or kick a heap of goals then.

I thought his last 2 weeks against the Bulldogs and Eagles were very good and he used the ball quite well,but against the Hawks he was back to his worst I can't even remember him hitting a target he was just as bad against Adelaide. Once he starts turning the ball over he just doesn't stop, he has the ability to use the ball well like his games against the dogs and Eagles he just has to show some consistancy with using the ball if he doesn't he will struggle to stay in the team in the future. There are other players who should be getting dropped before him.

The only player who is a chance to play from the VFL is Bell, Jetta is a very poor kick and that is what will stop him from making it at AFL level and Jamar only had about 60% of game time so he still not ready. Bell should have played against the dogs we didn't have good match ups on Welsh or Aka and it was just pure luck that Murphy got injured cause we didn't have a match up for him either. The Hawks are a bit different cause only Williams is their mid sized forward so I would take a risk and play Grimes on him. Bennell must play he adds too much run for him not to be in. We need Rivers to help out Warnock and Martin. I don't think they should rush Green so he should still be a couple of weeks away. I don't understand why they are playing Valenti with the way our midfield is playing I think he will continue to have limited game time. Dunn has to be dropped he is not doing enough and Petterd should be the unlucky one to miss, Bell will be a bit unlucky too.

Personally I blame it all on Newton he is holding Watts back. Watts would have kicked 10 if Newton wasn't at full forward. Newton is the new Sautner.

This is why I'm glad we got rid of the old board. Leaking this to the media straight away over pissy issues that could be sorted out in private sounds like the bad old days. The club would be 100% better off if Coglin kept his distance.

Newton has to come in look at there backline it is very small. If Martin is second ruck does Bruce take McKinley ? Frawley will take LeCras, Warnock will take Lynch and Rivers will take Kennedy, Bruce looks like our only other option. Jetta has better defensive pressure than Maric so he should get a game ahead of him, Grimes hasn't done enough and Cheney is unlucky he isn't far away from taking Bennell's spot should travel with the team as first emergency. The bench should be Jones, Newton, Bennell and Jetta. I think we have a good chance here Robbo loves playing the Eagles. As long as we are competitive I will be happy every unexpected win will hurt us in the long run if we are going to be a good side we desperately need picks 1 and 2 otherwise will be like the Roos, Tigers, Bombers and Lions going nowhere.

His heart is huge when we play against the lions, tigers and dockers he goes missing in most other games. Wasn't sighted until the last quarter when the game was over. We need talent in spades we have plenty of goers without any talent Miller is one of them.

Take that flat track bully Miller please. Hopefully it's like Freo's scheme and we can get a young Lloyd or Lucas type.

Does anyone know if we can rookie or mature age rookie him ? He hasn't been recruited by an AFL club before has he ?

Rotate Marty monster and Miller. We don't have to win the hit outs we just have to make sure they don't get easy clearances.

Robo's coming back from injury so who knows what he is capable of? We need more run out of defence we currently have to many talls, on promise Garland, Frawley and Martin are slightly ahead of Warnock and Rivers. I love the way Jones and Bartram have a crack but they just butcher the ball to often. Bate, Dunn and Sylvia are far too inconsistant. Miller has no talent he only plays well against the worst defences in the league in Richmond, Freo and Brisbane. I like Valenti more than Jones. I have no idea what we are going to do with our ruckman unfortunately Jamar is still our best option.

I would start Davey on Ablett and if it doesn't work use Bartram as the back up plan. We won't stop him we may as well try something different. We have to be hard at it and hit targets to be competitve the 5 ins have that abilty and the 5 outs don't at the minute.

If we can take something out of the game it is that it doesn't matter how bad you play as long as you have a dip you still have a chance. We have thrown in the towel too often over the years. I'll take an ugly game over a 10 goal belting any day of the week.

Frawley was excellent last night. He's having a good year especially the last 2 weeks clearly our most improved. He's tough and quick and more importantly he now has confidence something I never saw in him in his first couple of years.

Our % is 70 I don't know where I pulled 63 from.
