Please, please don't be painting Fevola as a victim in all of this....... And while I understand you point of view WYL that maybe more could have been done to stop what happened, we will never know, and it doesn't change what happened and why. But at the end of the day only one person is responsible, and he was not exploited by anyone. We all have had times when we have been helped by friends but RR is right this is very different and is a long way away from having a few too many and not being able to get home. It was a exclusive corporate event that is televised and he couldn't even stay sober for a quarter of it. He should know bloody well have known better, its not like this is the first Brownlow he has attended. The protocol is pretty damn simple really. And as to Channel 9 being unnecessarily culpable because they had the audacity to make him do what he was obligated to do by putting a camera in his face when drunk, well he was contracted to do the segment, no one else was prepped and their well paid participant was drunk, maybe a different decision could have been made, but it is not their responsibility to baby sit a grown man or his reputation, especially when he had already been so kind as to [censored] all over the contract he had with them in the first place by going out and getting so very drunk. He is not the victim here, others didn't help but as an adult we are held responsible for our actions and Fevola, despite some opinions, is no different.

You may not be excusing his behaviour WYL but you are qualifying it....... Maybe what you say should of happened, but just because it didn't doesn't mean he gets to do what he allegedly did. And it doesn't mean that Carlton, Crown, or Channel 9 are responsible for him.

Miller isn't in the same boat as the other two...... If they wanted Brad gone this year then he would be, given his contract was up at the end of 09, but instead the club chose to he re-sign him. I do however agree with you on Bell and Newton.

He played a number of really good games at the beginning of this season as well..... But it will come down to the risk of injury, I guess.

We can re-rookie de-listed players can't we? And I would think Buckley (if uncontracted, which I don't know) would be another in the gun here.

Winning, stable facilities and an increase in continued success should change attitudes...... And that takes time, but right now we (Connelly, Bailey etc) can sell this clubs good points till we are blue (and red) in the face, but back to back wooden spoons does not help the cause. Give it some time, things will change !!!

He hasn't said that he won't, but he hasn't said that he will either...... Right now it is pure and utter speculation about whether we will end up being a destination of choice for him if he chooses to go into the drafts. And I don't think Rhino is saying that it definitively won't happen, but the reality is (which unfortunately is what it is now, but should change in years to come) that we are not the most wondrous of first choice destinations for a player of Balls stature and career objectives, so there is still a lot of water to go through yet before we get this particular player to the red and blue. If he chooses to play for us and nominate for the PSD, excellent, but we aren't there yet !!!

And you certainly won't be the last, but despite your opinion they don't deserve to be talked about like you did...... But that's it, but to explain my point of view, I hate people who treat our players, no matter how frustrated they make you, with disdain. And it happens way to easily and readily IMO !!!
