  1. We have a fistful of inside mids but not enough outside runners and that's cost us games against Essendon, Saints (twice) and nearly cost us yesterday, we will do ok against the slower sides but against quicker sides, we will struggle. We have Billy and Hunt but that's not enough, we need a couple more and Matt Jones isn't the answer, pace, pace, pace, that is needed and urgently.
  2. Trenners should play next week.
  3. We need to sort the forward line out, it's generally overcrowded and impossible to spot up a player, there are usually more inside the 50 mtr arc that outside it. Their forward line was open for most of the time today but when we had the ball they flooded back, like last week and we had to continually kick to a contest.
  4. On another matter if we wanted another midfielder we would play one, we actually want a full forward who will kick a few goals, Hogan is not a roaming unaccountable mid he is supposed to be a power forward that kicks goals.
  5. One of the worst games I have ever seen, Watts best and second best and third best. Just a poor effort by our senior players and I can see some changes next week. Don't care how many possessions he had, the skipper was terrible today, fortunately for him Bernie was a lot worse. WTF is going on with Hogan, he was really ineffectual today and he needs to work out if he wants to play with us or not. Oscar was ok today and Frost shows a bit, he will get better. Hunt gives it everything and Billy was one of our best. We looked out of sorts today and as if we didn't want to be there.
  6. I watched him for a while yesterday and he was spectating and not participating, he just watched the game and didn't at any time try to get involved or influence the game. I would be livid if we picked him, he's a total dud.
  7. Everyone seems to think that Grimes will get picked up by Richmond, I assume because his brother plays there, well that's about as logical as Prestia coming to Melbourne because his mum and dad barrack for Melbourne. I would think that Richmond will go the youth path and doubt they would be interested in a player who has failed at another club, they've done that too often in the past. Will he get another contract, not sure but whatever, I hope he gets another gig if he does get delisted by us.
  8. Sorry for having an opinion. I always thought that the whole concept was, show the form, get a game, I like Kennedy but you can't say he is consistent, that said i'd play him next week on his VFL form, he seems to play well in his first game back.
  9. Not a big Terlich fan, but he gee he has really done well as a forward, hasn't he. New contract next year, yeah, nah.
  10. Grimes is making it hard for the selectors to ignore him. Would love to know his disposal average over the last 6 Casey games. Trenners is also putting his case forward.

So i take it from your response you don't have any answers to the questions I raised and would prefer to abuse me instead, that's all I needed to know.

Firstly, my post was riddled with sarcasm, obviously that was lost on you. As for biting back, I merely pointed out that there are more now, a rather innocuous comment I would have thought. For some reason, I get the feeling that you think I'm a Pauline supporter, well I'm not, sorry to have to tell you that. My comment was more about the pompous few who think that only people that they agree with are worthy of representing us in Parliament. I think it's high time we got some people in there that are representative of the voters and not vested interests, be it big business or trade unions. I'm sure you know that the Public Service runs the Government and not the politicians and if she has any agenda, I'm sure the appropriate people will tell her if it's ok or not. I used to listen to parliament and can recall when Bob Brown was first elected he had no idea but he learnt as he went along. Hanson represents a lot of people and they deserve a voice and if it's her they have chosen then so be it, whether you think she is smart enough or not is irrelevant.

So what, in your opinion, is it that I don't understand? So you live in Sydney where there are many muslims and from your experience you consider them , for the most part to be peaceful, is that correct? Well perhaps you can tell me how many you actually know and what you base this on, I'd assume that it must be several thousand because any smaller sample would be useless. Isn't it ok for a muslim to lie to a non muslim, doesn't the Quran allow this? How many of your muslim friends have gone out on the street in a mass protest against the 1 or 2 radicals (that would be the number, wouldn't it) that exist in this country? Any of the sons of your muslim friends left the country to fight with ISIS? I don't care if you don't assume the worst or not, I'm sure there were plenty of young Women in Cologne that didn't either, that is until New Years Eve, or the families taking their children for a walk in Nice, or the young kids out for a night out at a dance or concert. Have you ever had an in depth discussion with your muslim friends about their stance regarding Gays or Women that have sex out of wedlock or how they would react if you said the the prophet didn't exist? Muslims have invaded Europe and they did it without firing a shot, they not only did it but they actually get money from the idiots that allowed it, you must have seen the footage of them asking "where is the money", have a look at the % of them that are still unemployed years after being accepted as migrants. http://www.breitbart.com/london/2015/12/09/migrants-to-make-up-6-in-10-of-swedens-unemployed-by-2017/ https://muslimstatistics.wordpress.com

Sorry, you talking to me? If you'd like to read the post I responded too, you'll see it was he that mentioned the % of muslims in the country. There are some 400,000 muslims in this country so how the f@#k do you know the majority are peaceful? How many of them have you met, 200,000 - 300,000?

Pauline Hanson makes the mistake of thinking that she has the right to express her mind and believe that she speaks on behalf of a lot of other like minded people, how dare she. She is clearly not well enough educated to be a member of Parliament and should resign immediately. She can't string a coherent sentence together and she obviously doesn't deserve the honour of representing the people that voted for her, be off with her, drive her out and replace her with someone that we agree with. How dare she say anything about muslims, they can say what they want to about Christians, Jews or any other person or religion, but for some strange reason we are forbidden to say anything derogatory about them. Surely we can find a suburban solicitor or an ex union official, neither of whom has never run a business, to take her place. I think you might find that the % of muslims has increased a bit since 2011.

Two seperate issues there. 1) Called foul names, mainly social media. 2) Denigrated on the front pages of the Age and any ABC show that involves current affairs, politics or talk back. Both of those statements are correct.
  17. What that says to me is, either Thompson knew more about this than previously let on, or he is just pulling numbers out of the air. Look at the statement he's made, if that's true, then he must have a more intimate knowledge of what occurred. He should be able to state which players were injected and which weren't, simple really.
  18. Well what was it Thommo, if there were no drugs there then how could you say that only 12 to 14 had the drug injected? http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/afl-season-2016-mark-thompson-says-members-of-the-essendon-34-will-sue-afl-for-50-million-20160728-gqfifu.html "Thompson also made the startling claim that at least 20 members of the Essendon 34 were unfairly suspended because they weren't given the banned peptide thymosin beta 4, even though the CAS found otherwise. "If this drug happened to be at the club, which they've got no proof it has been at the club or injected to any player, but if it did it wasn't 34 that had it – [it was] 12 or 14," Thompson said. "So that means if it's 14, it means 20 blokes are out there sitting a year out that are innocent. Now that's unfair, isn't it?"

There is always an attack on anyone that does't spout the general, accepted media view and if you are different you get crucified on social media. Can you give me a rundown on the abhorrent views she holds, I must say I don't read much about her but I'd like to know just how bad she is. God help you if you don't agree with mass immigration or climate change, you will be called all the foul names and denigrated on the front pages of the Age and any ABC show that involves current affairs, politics or talk back. You may even be eviscerated or smacked down by Waleed and I doubt you'd survive that. There are a lot of people that voted for Pauline Hanson and a lot that agree with her but didn't vote for her, there is a ground swell behind her and the politicians, media and commentators could well learn from what has happened in the recent election and start to understand what the people that voted for her want.
  20. I'm looking forward to The Weed playing next year and I have no doubt we made the right decision. I was a Lynch/Darling and Wines man but that's history now, Weed is the future.
  21. I think one of Trenners or Grimes will be at the club next year, maybe both, but if it's one I'd say it will be Trenners. I'd say the club will give him a chance to do a pre season to see how he comes up. It would be strange to have him on the list, injured, for the last two years and now he's finally fit, cut him. They gave him a one year contract when they knew he probably wouldn't play much, if any at all.
  22. Why would you even try to defend such an obviously bad selection? Do you just like to be contrary and argue for the sake of it, anyone with any knowledge of football knows he was a massive failure and it wasn't between the ears it was simply a lack of ability.
  23. Watched a bit of the Swans game yesterday and twice Rohan over ran the ball, which if picked up cleanly, would have given the Swans an entry in to the forward 50, there was no excuse for it it was simply skill error. I doubt he'll be dropped next week. If every player at Melbourne played 100% every week and didn't make any errors, we would be on top of both ladders and favourites for the flag.
  24. I turned it off at quarter time, we were in front but liked terrible, they just couldn't capitalise on our mistakes. Obviously in the second quarter they did. We had a really hard game up in Darwin and make minimal changes the following week.
