The Need for Outside Midfielders
Has anyone seen much of Jack Martin this year and is he gettable or worthy?

The Need for Outside Midfielders
Yep the form of these two have hurt us this year badly, besides Gaff I'd like us to bring in some Saad types, I can't even think of any worth pursuing that's close to out of contract, anyone have any ideas? We have tried but kind of failed in Scully, Toumpas, Salem didn't turn out to be the pacey player I thought.

New CEO - Gary Pert
Are there issues with Pert or the way it was handled? What could Pert do to destroy the club? Am just interested that's all as obviously I don't know him personally

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARRISON PETTY
Feel for the kid and I just hope he isn't ruined by yesterday. Going by people who watch VFL, match day reports and Goodwins comments, I thought he was ready, but it may take a year or two. Sounds like he works hard but just hope his mind holds up, coaches should have recognised very early he was getting isolated, but didn't seem to help him out.

@Demonland is there any way to mute/permanently ignore threads? Also, when putting posters on ignore and others reply to them, their posts still show in quotes, can this be fixed so we don't see said posters content? TIA

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARRISON PETTY
Good luck young fella. If I had to guess, looking at the Frost and Pedersen situations, Petty will get the 3 easier games, Pedersen playing CHB at Casey gets him back up to speed with defence and if Petty doesn't work out then he'll come in to replace him. Frost may as well seek offers now, papers stamped by the looks.

Jordan Lewis is absolutely cooked, never pick him again
Play Vince forward if they don’t drop him, those two just can’t play in the same backline, combined with Oscar the galloping giraffe we are too slow down there

We’ve had a lot of one paced players for many years now, hasn’t seemed to improved for about 10 years.- The No T$ No B$ Thread

Winning games, culture, stars, playing finals, snatching a flag will bring the punters. That’s the way to get members and followers, not a choice of training ground location. As PJ said in one of his first interviews, we need to get the footy right and the rest will follow, funny how that’s eventuated, smart man, unlike the previous CEO/board. I think the proposed choice of location is clever, albeit ambitious, but we’ll see. I just wonder if this is further down the track than we think, hence PJs resignation. For me personally I’d go to more training sessions at the G. I think we also need to move our focus from an ageing/dying supporter base to what’s best for our future. I don’t know what the Casey relationship is but I assumed it was a bandaid, a stand alone VFL team is also needed and one where we can train together. Build it and they will come.- Andrew Gaff
