There is no shame in waxing, my old school teacher used to wax his arms and for some weird reason I still wonder why? Many swimmers wax, runners, wrestlers.... legs, arms, head all fine.

I can definitely see that side of it, I can also see that limping in with 3 straight losses can create more of the same losers mentality. They've had their chance this year and blown it, we should be higher on the ladder. Fingers crossed it doesn't get to that anyway and we don't go into R23 this year with the weight of the world on our shoulders. Clubs like Hawthorn hate losing, we need to find that burn and desire attitude, which will help us beat the better sides and win close games.

To be honest, if we lose next two I'd rather miss the finals than limp in and rely on Ess. I want these players to burn in the guts if we lose our last 3. It was interesting to hear Shaun Burgoyne on AFL gameday say it burnt Hawks players in the guts with disappointment when they missed the finals last year, now look at them. And us, well more of the same after round 23 last year.

Coll, GWS etc are ruined by injuries yet they keep winning mostly, I hate injuries for an excuse when other clubs find a way. By the way, whats your joke of the day Trac, I need a laugh.

A good article for those who keep saying "our scores against have improved, so defence isn't an issue." The issue is team defence. The mids laziness is always on show and they only run one way. Interestingly, Clarkson and a few senior players have always said Hawks dont care too much about winning contested ball and look at their success.
