  1. Yea absolutely. Weid would be better. Tmac has been travelling since the port game.
  2. Come on Tmac maybe on gf day you could impose yourself. Its been a while now. Its really really dissappointing non effort. Im sorry but you have to get involved.
  3. Would like to see Kozzie and Tmac get interested.
  4. Absolute howler missing Friitta held like a Magnet. For shame.
  5. Well thats one quarter down. Fritta poorly treated but three more like that please. Oliver and Trac dominating. Keep it going you bloody beautiful Demons
  6. Well 57 years of pain and suffering will all be erased in around 120 mins. Not much. But well worth the wait. Love to you all.
  7. Wow....how good is footy,? I've rung old Dees mates haven't spoken to in over four or five years and its like I spoke to them only yesterday. All three chats went the same. Nothings changed.....just a good chin wag about Tmac kicking early goals and having the razor blafes ready should we lose. One mentioned having the runs but its like we were best of mates all over again. Love it. I guess the alcohol consumption is kicking in.
  8. I want to acknowledge my dad too who died three years ago from Leaukemia. We always laughed about the misfortunes of our team but it was as always a platform for sharing and communication for the old school dad who had trouble saying I love you. Footy was just one of those things that was sn emotional ice breaker. Miss him immensely and would give anything to have him sit beside me riding this win home even if he'd say we had no chance in hell. Like me he would fire up about the umpires " CHEATING". Tx dad for making me follow this " dud team " and thanks for everything you did for me that I often failed to acknowledge Thanks for the times you came to a few games even if I forced you but mainly thanks for just being you. And a shout out to all you Dlanders who miss their dads today. The dads that had an impact on the team you followed. If you are lucky enough to have your own children, without sounding patronizing, go and give them a massive hug and tell them you LOVE them. Thanks guys and gals. Go Dees. Do it for my dad too and all the dlanders dads.
  9. Top post. Will play some of those now. Cheers.
  10. Thanks Dazzle. I've always been a big fan. Always hard at it. Great decision maker and works exceptionally hard. Provides a good physical presence and despite age and size is reasonable quick.Totally locked down a few classy players including dusty. Came in late this season and immediately had a big impact. Yes dropped off a little towards the end of season but hugely instrumental in setting up our early domination and I'm wrapped he's been rewarded with an extension.
  11. Well done all you Non Dee Perthites for a projected full stadium and more so if they support us. Great to have a crowd and a reasonably big one at that.
  12. My wife has outdone herself. Footy franks Sausage rolls Kfc. All the comfort food I need. I just wish there was some left. I wonder how the players the are? Its always fun to watch them line up and sing the anthem . The nerves probably stay with them for most of the first as they run the nervous energy out of their system. But until then we usually see quite a few clangers and poor diposals. Will be harder on the younger players. On the otherhand after being locked up for two weeks they are probably keen to just be out and about. I so hope we get a great jump on them and keep a 30 point plus lead over them all day. The bus is on its way .
  13. Its raining in Wollongong. Its not relevant and Im sure nobody cares but I have to keep my mind occupied.
  14. Like you woke up crying and screaming every twenty mins.😀
  15. Id say there's about another 70k others along with you. Ah the joy of footy😀
  16. I really do believe our forward line is stronger than the dogs. I know our backline is stronger than theirs. Since Viney has returned to pretty much his best and Max in the prelim played like Kozzie, our midfield has certainly caught up to the dogs touted one. Tmac first goal. Bbb the most with SEVEN. Changed my mind.... JV to win the Nsm. We've got this by around SEVEN goals. And an obscure prediction Dees to get seven more free kicks. I'm so excited... I'm cracking open the liquid amber....the suds...nectar of the Gods....the cause and solution to all of life's problems...VB.
  17. Only from the class of a superior type of supporter. All you get from your port supporter would be the empty cans thrown downstairs.
  18. You have overs fifty years of hopes and dreams upon your shoulders. You are a greatly gifted group of players. You and thousands of others deserve this flag. GO AND TAKE WHAT BELONGS TO YOU.
  19. Have heard the crowd will be pro Demons. I hope so. Perhaps some Perth Dlanders have a clue? Too early to tell but what would be the reason for this speculation. Tix sold?
  20. You have to accept that the dogs finishing outside the top four......travelling to Tassie......then Brisbane and then Adelaide and winning is a pretty good effort. But having them then travel to Perth and winning number four would be highly unlikely. I don't think I could handle a close game. All purists of the game would argue of course that's the basis of a good gf to watch. Not for Mfc supporters. Maybe a close one in 2024.
