  1. My poor math there. If we win tomorrow, I'd say we need another eight.
  2. Fat lady warming up.
  3. Here comes the umpires.
  4. Gee we did well v Gws earlier.
  5. Absolutely DS. Everyone supporting Gws I assume. Hogan still makes me sad not playing for us but I always wish home the best. Decent bloke I really dislike a lot of Carlton supporters.
  6. This Gws Blues game is a cracker. Except Blues just scored. Great passage of play though.
  7. I wouldn't say he's a fine kick. Especially set shots. I would humbly suggest your on your own here. But I defend your right to free speech comrade rpfc. He is excellent around the body and the odd quick snap. But like his other partner in crime, Max, I'm sure that Benny Hill theme starts to kick into his mind, when he's starting to kick in.
  8. I think we have this one Narm is the secret weapon these days.
  9. Maybe too early and mods please delete or shuffle if appropriate. I couldn't find one. 13 more games I think. If we win tomorrow that's 20 points . How many do we need? Is 13 wins given our percentage enough? That's eight more including tomorrow. Big ask. But every season in terms of those last six to eight vying for the last few spots seem to get tighter.
  10. Le big Mac please.
  11. Has anyone ever watched every game in a round ever. Split screen perhaps? It's like the daily trifecta of Maccas, Hungry Jacks and KFC. Only healthier.
  12. I imagine with him, Fritta, Milkshake it could be quite challenging for other teams.
  13. Clearly, a new sense of hope here. Long and arduous road ahead but thank goodness there is some light again. I'll openly admit I had us completely written off after five in a row but now four wins in five with a top scalp where is Big Kev? I'm still annoyed about the Gws game and the umpiring and poor kicking v hawks because both those were entirely gettable. Just saying. With those wins we would be in the eight and serious contenders. Such a fine line at times between success and failure in this game for sure. Again really keen to see Langford and Lindsay play. I'm hoping for Jvr to perform and come back soon. On paper these days with a fit list we look pretty damn good and now seem to have some viable options on a longer one for once.
  14. Just opponents alive for lunch quite frequently. Still really concerned about his omission but better minds than me I guess. I once thought a skinny tall ruckman by the name of Gawn, I think, would never make it. Speaking of better minds does anyone think Tmac should be played forward again? Especially given the brains trust think he's not required down back at present.
  15. Wordsmith of the week. You give #Georgeontheouter a run for his hard earned.
  16. Ha. Goody has certainly set himself up as a Target if it all goes south. I'm wondering if Lever will last a full game. So as we all seem to agree, strange call.
  17. Dunstall talking about the Tigers not letting Essendon run away with it..." You want a scoreboard that reflects the effort you've put in." If this quarter is any indication , I'd say that's exactly what the Tigers have. Seven goals
  18. They both look so flat.
  19. Just tuned in for the last q of Dons v Tigers. What a low quality game.
  20. I'm still holding hope on seeing Tmac playing fwd again but probably won't ever happen.
  21. Despite Tmac out it won't dampen my enthusiasm in looking forward to seeing Lord Windsor, Lindsay and Landord play. A solid looking team.
  22. Yep. I hate to say that about May but he would have been my call. Although one never knows the true reasons. He's a senior player that may have requested a week off for any number of reasons. At least I hope that's the answer as to wth? I'm glad Lever is back but he's been out for a while. Will he be able to play the whole game fully fit? This selection reminds me of a scene from "No country for old men."
  23. I'm safely guessing your below the age of sixty.
  24. I only live in Wollongong so I can get a fix of a game in Sydney or spend the necessary dollars and get to the MCG if needs be. As beautiful as it is living in a giant tree ( pole ) house surrounded by trees and wildlife in the rainforest a few minutes walk to the Ocean, missing footy games in person are something I lament about. I have a few mates here that support Sydney but nobody apart from my daughter to watch games with. This is why I enjoy DLand. I thought with streaming services I would not miss it so much but nothing beats going to the MCG on a cold winters day in the rain, paying 20 dollars for a couple of light beers, burning the roof of your mouth on a pie and training it back home with a bunch of drunken Cwood nutters. I genuinely miss it so very much.
