  1. Bruce says alot of things... Very few of them have any real comprehensible logic attatched to them. And even those that do are usualy phased as a question. "If he has a big second half they win dont you think?" "He has been in everything hasn't he?" "Did he kick it?!" "Is it over?" "It can't be over can it?" "Have you seen any better?" "You have to love him don't you?" I could go on... there was a pretty good video back in round 2 highlighting all his stupid questions in the richmond collingwood game. On the greenfield post fb page I think it was but not 100% sure.
  2. Pro tip: If you are using chrome (and most other browsers) putting a question mark at the start of the url will cause it to always be googled (or binged if you are that person) rather than redirected.
  3. Well this is a problem... my brain is hardwired to think that everything that comes out of KB's mouth is crap. Yet I want to believe this is true.
  4. I think Frost is the more appealing than Dunn, I skimmed through the Casey game replay last night and while i admit to not watching super intently i liked what i saw of him coming out from the backline. That being said i would be surprised if they dropped Omac after 1 game, he was shakey yes but i think he just needs confidence in his spot, dropping him for that will do nothing to help. His positioning was good at times, he was part of a few nice passages and he got beaten 1 on 1 a few times but also saved a certain goal when out numbered and out sized. I think with jetta coming back in to strengthen the defence it is worth us giving Oscar 2-4 weeks in the seniors to get used to the pace and then see what he is like. I think if he settles he will slot in nicely. Bringing him in for 1 game stints 3-5 times over the year wont be nearly as helpfull than giving him 3-5 games in a row then putting him back to casey with a clearer understanding on what he needs to improve on.
  5. In his defence he was crunched off the ball by a bloke who got 4 weeks...
  6. He called it the thursday when he was named in the team.
  7. Judging how little it looks remotely like hawthorn i would almost suggest hawthorn want to distance thier brand from it as much as possible #conspiracytheory
  8. Bit rich when this forum has threads multiple which say we should trade out Tmac and now there is another saying we should trade in Daw. I'm all for enjoying a richmond failure but some people here are clearly as batshit crazy as any richmond supporter I've met.
  9. Out: Wagner, Hunt (resting) and Oliver (no risking/rest) In: Tyson, Jetta (for obvious reasons) and one of Pedo/Dawes depending on match fitness etc (most likely Pedo) Note: I actually think we could go without the extra tall against port with their smaller lineup and the humidity making it slippery for talls so a bit wait and see with that one. I was pretty pleased with Watts in the ruck so they could go that again, who knows. Big game for the following: Michie, ANB, Newton, Omac and Garland depending on form and/or match ups they will be most vulnerable to be replaced by the 3 resters. Personaly I think both ANB and Newton deserve an extended run in the seniors but unfortunatly they just dont seem to fit for now. Not to mention a nr 2 pick who has put his hand up for a game in the coming weeks
  10. If it goes to the afl revenue and the players get that percentage of revenue they want, would that mean that in the future they essentually start paying for themselves?
  11. I had faith he would get there but i thought he was 2-3 years away from a game like his last 2. Hopefully he can continue to back them up with more solid performances. We desperatly needed a run and carry player and now we have him. Hunt as well has shown it in patches.
  12. It was used quite a lot but i didnt take notice all that much. We got a few good handballs out the back because of it coming from the centre bounce and some turnovers as we wanted. But as against the GC it was aided but opponent ineptitude. I'll be interested to see how it goes in the next 2 weeks. Against a team about our level and one who is well above.
  13. Oh no doubt Tyson plays just hope they give Newton another run. I'd think give Oliver another rest due to the short turn around, the travel and the heat. Hell they may even consider resting Tracc for the same reasons. I k people wont like tracc not playing but the club will be thinking hard about what the travel up there will do to a young kid . Depends if they think the bye is close enough after, only 3 weeks after Alice or something like that
  14. I like Newton i think he has a pretty high ceiling, just needs a good run at it. I'm concerned he will be droped for Tyson though.
  15. Good luck, theres only 3 or 4 of them and they are not likely to be given up by their respective clubs
  16. Spencer signed and he isnt in. You may not be wrong, idk, but thats a flawed reasoning
  17. Its raining signatures
  18. if he does play forward it would probably have to be him, not gonna play watts or hogan in the ruck. I dont mind him forward either but they may choose to play a small forward line, who knows. I think dunn at HF with his long kick could be pretty good.
  19. "Cameron Pedersen is injured and has been withdrawn from the Dees' 25-man squad, withLynden Dunn coming in" http://www.afl.com.au/news/2016-05-20/late-mail-live-round-nine
  20. Can either of you or someone else who is screaming for his head on a stake explain to me what he has done wrong in the last 2 weeks? aside from that 1 really bad handball? I'm not saying he is going to be in our defence in the future but Dunn sure as hell wont be either. We play garland because we have nobody else
  21. Im just looking at the likes of Port and Richmond and thinking I dont want a quick fix to shove us into finals this year. I want a structure that can get us in and win finals next year and beyond. I believe the Diamond at full strength is something that can do that.
  22. I understand it straight after the game and hell i feel it too but people are getting way too negative after each loss and way too positive after each win. If we win this week some people will be talking finals again
  23. Ok then that allows the 3 at the back of the diamond to converge on him when the ball gets kicked in. Hitting a man surounded by 3 defenders is difficult and a risk that we are willing to take. Assuming none of the converging defenders can take a grab we are backing in our mids and half backs to get to the fall of the contest and help contest the loose ball then clear it. Its a full team effort and thats why it failed at times on the weekend but you're kidding yourself if you think there weren't diamond successes during the game. I can guarantee the dogs were pointing out flaws in their own zone after that game too. We were not able to exploit them a much as they did us. Doesnt mean our gameplan was worse just means they are a better team.
  24. I'd seriously consider giving OMac a run but other than that i agree.
  25. I just like that we are backing our players now. So many years we have played assuming we were going to lose each contest. Now we play assuming we will contests, and look at the results we lead the comp in center clearances and are way up the top in contested. I think some here arn't giving the dogs the credit they deserve. There were quite alot undefendable handballs and kicks. No defence is perfect and ours is still a WIP what did people expect against a top 4 side?
