  1. We raised over 1400 in the end. Turnout was about 70. Which obviously wasn't maximum, but next year there will be a lot further warning, so it should be even bigger!
  2. 32 touches last week against a previously top 4 aiming side, passed it... Injury, i think he'd be as good as he's ever been. Hard to rate because he's always been understated, but he can keep going at his own pace and playing his own game like he's always done. Great moment last week (and i know 2 weeks but who cares) when he has the ball about to hurridly get rid of it, saw it was Corrie coming at him, so he took the hit, shrugged him off and then moved on
  3. Was this judged off an e-meter? L. Ron Hubbard style
  4. Kept the Dogs to their lowest score this year, so that's a plus!!
  5. Why would Hawthorn take him if he is useless and can't get a senior game? A team that has set itself over the last 5 years to build a young premiership contender, will not now try to plug gaps (especially with players that can't get a game). Why draft an old guy in a premiership window, when you can keep getting younger guys who can prolong your premiership window
  6. The West Sydney Crack-Pipes you reckon Jaded?
  7. Hard game. Obviously you want your team to win, but a win doesn't do much for us. and i wouldn't want to see us ruin a fellow struggling team's great season. I prey we are competitive, and know that when the ball bounces i'll probably be screaming for us to win, but i think it'll be 30-35 points with a ten minute period killing us somewhere as usual
  8. The West Sydney Goldmine The West Sydney Olympians
  9. Does he have the skills to become a handy forward if needed? I wouldn't want to pick up an inflexible ruckman
  10. But if you say it, and there is no sense of sarcasm, how can it not be taken literally? and further more, why shouldn't it?
  11. We have a birthday every year
  12. Well march 13th could just be a supporter generated event to mark the start of the season. We need as many nights as we can get
  13. AWESOME! What a demonic day to have it!
  14. What in the world happened in the first quarter? Great to hear about Petterd
  15. I'd say an opinion can be stupid, but not wrong or right
  16. I asked Brent Moloney last night to name the one player who would vote for to be the next captain. He said Brad Green. I asked why he wasn't in the leadership previously, he told me it was because he was on a limited program and not training with the main group, and so he assumed the new blokes in the team would not have voted for him as they had less interaction with Brad, than guys like Miller, Bruce etc. So it's a good sign that he wasn't ignored by the players in not being included
  17. I'd say that has a lot to do with confidence. Something a more freed-up role in the midfield could provide
  18. What we should really do, is get the teddies to mate. $105 per teddy, double the teddies through a little bit of "interaction" and we're set
  19. JJC, i agree with you in part, but it is hard for every supporter to jump on board every single charity event or idea. I think the hardest part of fundraising is in practically getting people to pay. I think this happens because a lot of people have the attitude that "my little bit won't make a difference" which is very closely tied to the "if i knew that a thousand members would donate, then i would too" philosophy. Somehow this needs to be eradicated, and i think (as many have already stated) that this can only be achieved by reaching EVERY member. People must feel empowered to know that not only is their donation useful, but it is also a part of a large group of change
  20. I'm still a little bit confused why Newton gets so much attention on these boards. Is it simply because it took him so long to play? What's the obsession? Excited to see Bell back, i think he can add a lot to our team if he can get his head right
