This would give names like Pavlich after Hasleby, Koschitzke after Riewoldt, Mclean after Sylvia, Franklin after Roughead, Pendlebury after Thomas, Judd after Kreuzer.

Absolutely. But naturally we won't hear much about it here in Melbourne as no one will be too fussed about teams out west. Similar to year's they (W.C.) are going well.

I'm just saying that winning 4 or less does not merely mean getting pick one, it gives us the added bonus of an extra pick in the top 5 - this extra pick has given teams the likes of Franklin, Pendlebury, Kreuzer/Judd, Mclean, Pavlich and Koschitzke. Obviously it all depends what the changes are. But if Davey, Moloney and Bruce are out with some mysterious injury, of course it will (and should) be viewed as "list management."

Career average disposals: 13.8 Against Hawks: 13.8 Averaged one less mark against them, one extra tackle, 1.5 goal average - 1.3 agains the Hawks. Pretty much the same

HT, I'd say us winning the past two is the reason for this sudden talk of tanking in the media as it has suddenly become an issue. The MFC at 1-14 would be no cause to talk about tanking.

Two posters on this thread had already mentioned Warlpiri Wizard on Sunday. I don't know, I just don't think a nickname can ever be "official." People will call him whatever they like - highlighted by the 4-5 nicknames written in this thread. Even Bruce doesn't know what the nickname is, he's tossing up between "The Cougar", "The Jurrahcane" or "LL Cool J." These are added to "LJ", "Jooka," and "Warlpiri Wizard."

Jack Grimes already has about 4 nicknames as far as I'm concerned. I don't see how it's such a big deal - indeed the range of nicknames he has already simply underlines to me how is he loved by the footy world. Anyone notice the crowd whenever he was near the ball on Sunday? They went mental!
