IMO, it'd be difficult to argue that 5 more games from Col and 12 more from LJ wouldn't have produced 3 more wins for the team overall.

One of my favourite arguments brought up during this is the "he didn't play/travel to Adelaide...that's a worry." Does this mean that when he plays for us, there's nothing to worry about any more?

Reminds me also (not that I really needed it) how great a player Pavlich is. Kicks a goal from 50, puts himself in the middle, wins the clearance and bombs one in from the centre square. If he was Victorian, he'd be one of the biggest 5-10 players of the game in the last decade (if he's not anyway!).

This point of view often confuses me. Commentators as well always go on about players dribbling the ball through as though it's a fluke. I've always found that dribbling the ball through opens the goal face up and usually offers a greater margin for error.
