  1. Really looking forward to seeing how Mihochek, JVR, Melksham and Fritta work together in the forward line, with a couple of Picketts thrown in (not you, fence).
  2. Loved @Temporarily Hopeful Demon 's memory lane summary - job very well done mate. Special re-mention for the 2018 semi final goal vs hawks - I also went nuts with my boy when he kicked that. But oddly, my favourite Melk memory was just a kick he made at marvel vs Saints off the half back line in about 2020-21ish. He kicked a 55m low, hard dart through the guts, completely sliced open the saints through traffic to an open player ahead of the centre square who then went on and goaled. It was such a venomous, accurate kick - low and hard. I watched it over and over. Was a ripper, much like Harmes' kick to Fritta in the 21 granny. Just visionary and beautifully executed.
  3. What a cutie. How can you not love a red and blue pom pom?
  4. In true self deprecating fashion, maybe we could introduce some binnie influenced segments: How’s It Bin?: A general weekly review title. Where’s He Bin?: for missing-in-action players. Long Time No Bin: covers players making a long-awaited comeback. "Top bins" is officially in the Oxford English Dictionary to describe a goal in the top corner. The Bin-ishers: A play on "the finishers." Get in the Bin: Ideal for a "hot takes" or "room 101" style segment where you "bin" bad refereeing or poor performances. The Binbag Brigade: A self-deprecating name for pundits with "trash" opinions. Bin It or Win It: A segment-based title where you decide if a team’s performance was good or garbage. Straight to the Sin Bin: focuses on the "dark arts" of football and controversy.
  5. Sam Draper has given me nightmares over the last couple of years in this game. I'm glad he's not playing (although it only delays the nightmare one week to the Brisbane game)
  6. Amazing what a bit of confidence can do for a player
  7. This is how it was reported by Caro last night on Agenda Setters - i.e. that an invitee to the meeting recorded it, not the club.
  8. I'd have laughed at this twice if I was allowed.
  9. I'm surprised that the top 8 sides are all Melbourne based sides, normally the crowd affirmation for interstate sides is worth a bit. Geelong averaging 10 free kicks more a game than their opposition is bs.
  10. Damien Hardwick: "Max Gawn was by far the best player on the ground" Herald Sun: 0 votes.
  11. Does a positive and three negatives make a positive or a negative?
  12. North vs Carlton fascinating.
  13. We should be talked about then for our first quarter % being 24.7
  14. Our current clash jumper does this though.
  15. If they don't get in each others way, I'd love to see how JVR, Mihochek, Fritta and Melksham work together in a forward line; with a bit of Pickett^2 magic and a cheeky Chandler cameo thrown in.
