  1. How about we send you answers for future brain teasers and you turn them into a brain teaser? eg. All their middle names are John. They all debuted in round 3
  2. Looking forward to the salty tears from Collingwood supporters when we knock them out of the finals in R24 next year (and cement top spot).
  3. Not if you're Tom Morris.
  4. https://www.zerohanger.com/surprise-suitor-emerges-for-veteran-saint-afl-trade-news-156040/ This article at the bottom suggests we've at least taken a look at him.
  5. They're coming from further back. I'm surprised they couldn't find more. Not to say they'll actually make the 8.
  6. He’s probably going to do his altitude training in the You Yangs
  7. I was apathetic on the AFL, not the dees (until R16 this year).
  8. I found this Robbo moment entertaining in his views on Roo getting rubbed out a couple of years back for spoiling with a fist but making high contact. And then getting distracted like a 3 year old "Is that the moon?" https://x.com/i/status/1655874007550541825
  9. Not on your own by a long stretch. I read somewhere recently that our club is allergic to success, I've been apathetic on the dees since about round 16 and AFL in general since about 2012.
  10. I can't wrap my head around why these jobs are coveted. For instance, both Horse and Yze alike with their differing seasons would walk away from 2024 quite unhappy. I hope McQualter with a young family has a good support network out west, and wish him the best of luck (and mental health). Given he's been the front runner for some time, I'd hope we've got a good replacement plan afoot.
  11. And if Brisbane lose, being the runner up 2 years running would be hard to come back from
  12. Given he's the grandson of 1960's Geelong player Alastair Lord, I reckon there will be a strong pull to get him back there (although maybe in 5-10 years time when he's early-mid 30's)
  13. I fondly remember him taking off up the wing in the 21 granny and bouncing the ball, losing control and it crossing the boundary line. Best of luck for your future endeavours Lachie.
  14. That's why you involve lawyers in contract negotiations - they don't miss the small stuff
  15. I'd like to think I'm generally a glass half full man myself - but just looking at the results of "we lost by less than a kick" misses the point that we were 6 goals down to the blues before we even scored a point, we were 35 to 8 in front of GWS at qtr time before completely losing momentum - and we only kicked 7 goals in the game vs Port, in what was a good pressure but pretty ugly game of footy. My view is we weren't where we needed to be in all of those games, rather than not far off. The Brisbane game is the only one I'd say we could look at as a genuine 50/50 that we lost by less than a kick.
