  1. But it isn’t concerning dc (at least not to me)
  2. Is that left or right of screen DV?
  3. Me - but not on this forum.
  4. Did you set your alarm for the end of the 3Q brain fade?
  5. I think my avatar says it all He’s f’n superman
  6. Do you think he knows she bats for the other team?
  7. You’re a trooper Andy
  8. Good thread and good measured debate agree with all said!
  9. To be fair to Beetle, I’ve got a mate working at AFL Media and he was quite certain that Hogan was going to be the story of last years’ trade period. that said, I’m glad it didn’t work out and he’s still with us and firing on all cylinders. this was an interesting article however https://www.theroar.com.au/2018/03/13/melbourne-trade-jesse-hogan-2018/
  10. Oh - before I forget i hope the spud that rolled Bayley Fritsch onto his neck in the 3Q tackle that saw him leave the field is cited and given weeks for that. It could have been seriously dangerous and was completely unwarranted.
  11. With the extra hour in bed at 3am this morning, I was reflecting that if we are to be a true force in September, we need to be rock solid defensively. And to get to this point, we really should be using Lever as he was being used last year (that’s why we liked him). These two points lead me to believe we need to move TMac down back with his brother and Lever as the three mainstays. Jetta, Hibbo and Hunt provide the run. We should be using the next 5-6 weeks to refine a TMac free attack that can kick 100+ points as it did last night.
  12. They’re leaving already?
  13. Thanks for the pitch report PD, hope you didn’t lose your keys is the eastern end of the ground left or right of screen?
  14. Give Tonya Harding a call
  15. It’s a bloody shame WB, three years ago he could have been anything
  16. I think it’s a shame Bugg for Hannan as I’m a big fan of Mitch. That said, I think Mitch is too similar to Fritsch and It’s a good idea to try a new dynamic with a pressure forward + one of the two (and I think Fritsch earned his spot). So overall good changes. Hopefully Tom has worked hard on his goal kicking over the summer, because I don’t want to see him dish one off as he runs inside 50 instead of taking a shot.
  17. Certainly not suugesting you were either WB - my point is we shouldn’t be (and we’re not) afraid to give him that assignment. Only bodes well for us in the long run.
  18. He wasn’t the reason we lost WB, he’ll learn from the experience and have more strings to his bow next time round. He won’t win us a flag this year as a second gamer, but will be important for us the year after next in a flag window. We must persevere with him + Weids + J.Smith and get games (including uncomfortable matchups) into them without tipping the balance of the overall team too heavily towards inexperience.
  19. I’m looking forward to watching Hodgey point at all the holes in their defence we run through to score. Not worried about this one. North more so (MFCSS).
  20. for imitation being the sincerest form of flattery. Ordinary imitation as well, if I may say so.
  21. Misson (in a dark alley)
  22. I know Goody suggested that Lever had a poor first half, but to drop him for an injured TMac seems a bit drastic. Edit: LOL - just realised the thread topic was "last time they met...."
  23. I don’t think it was humble, resilient or respectful and I’m sure Goody will make that point to him. I see a minor distinction between a skill error in the heat of battle or late in the game when the player is cooked vs. gobbing off and giving away a goal. we missed the finals last year by 9/10 of f*** all. Should do better Lewy (great game otherwise).
