I Stopped watching The sunday footy show this year and feel a while lot better. It's a pretty awful assortment of buffoons when you think about it. And Lloyd has had it in for us his entire career and will write us off at every mention. I've stripped back solely to podcasts and my fav is ABCs Corbin and Ben. ESPNs footy with champion data Christian jolly. And the Tuesday SEN segment with Daniel Hoyne where Healy/Cornes are about all I can handle. 😂

There are people out there that think the Lions should have won by 7 goals and choked that result. I just utterly refute that because we ran out every quarter better after the 1st. And both clubs won 2 quarters each in totality. We had some chances to bring the margin back to even within a few minutes of the last, and missed them. Before reigning back the margin. And they had chances to put the game beyond reach in the last. Seems to me quite an even split of momentum swings.

Amazing how even that game was. We dominated the 1st half of the first quarter and 2nd half of the 3rd quarter. And then the last. That's a 50/50 split. It all came down to a Melksham shot on goal. The talk of a Lion's choke is nonsense. We ran out the last quarter and a half. Their legs were gone! They were frighteningly good in that middle section of the game, but it wasn't enough.

When does Petty have to prove he is a reliable defender in the VFL? No doubt he will, but there are different standards being applied here to two players.
