Like many on Demonland I never saw this coming and was immediately a bit shocked given our rivalry (hatred) of Collingwood. Even Lyon sounded shocked on SEN this morning, however, the more I think about it the more that I am warming to the idea. He was involved in a dramatic rise of that other club and I really crave getting back to where we were in 1964. Very professional once again MFC and despite some of the whip lash, Collingwood would not have been big enough for both of them. Well done Melbourne, Go Dee's.......................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks bobby1554 - Trac looks on target to beat his disposal count this year but is a bit behind with goals. I think that we are all waiting for him to break a game open and kick a lot of goals and rack up big numbers of possessions. Is he carrying a niggle?? Go for it Trac!!! Go Dee's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The day started beautifully, sunny day nice walk from the city to the Gee, then they didn't open the gates until 1.20 PM?????? What were they thinking. Watching the coaches was fun and watching the boys kick goal after goal in the warm up looked the goods, we won the toss but once the siren sounded we looked flat and the Pies were On. It was hard to watch apart from a couple of cameo roles and a stand out performance from TMac, we looked a long way off Collingwood and even Dunny out ran Hannan then Howe stopped us in our tracks with a couple of nice marks and hit up targets like a good player should. How many times did we kick the ball directly to the opposition and on the Big Stage to, 83,000 people at the game. Very disappointed that the boys didn't dig deeper and run harder. We were the hunted and we went to ground. Go Dee's!!

Had the whole family there today including two of my grand kids to watch Jonesy run out today. So good to be able to watch with no pressure and a lot of Dee supporters at our favourite stadium, 5 in a row. Wow...!!!! Go Dee,s !!!!!

What a win, we have craved that type of win for years and years, makes it all worthwhile, great to sit with two of my daughters in the Ponsford stand and celebrate goal after goal, we all felt intoxicated as we walked back to the car and drove home to Doreen.
